<DIV>What are you guys parsing on raids consistently? To set the scene, I typically do not charm on raids - I prefer to buff grp dps and use aggro redux across raid (we still have scouts and casters that seem to love to peel =/). My parses also tend to vary depending on the instance/encounter (obviously). I'm looking for a reality check; what are you parsing? Since 95% of my play time is spent in raid, I'm really looking for your raid parses over that which you do in groups.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by nscragg on <span class=date_text>07-21-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:39 PM</span>

It varies wildly depending on the encounter, but I parsed about 500-550 on single targets. Another very similarly grouped and equipped coercer parsed about 650-700, he's a whole lot better than I am. Another guy parses about 500 on single targets and 800ish on groups. Hope that helps you a little bit. Don't forget that it really does depend on the encounter, the AA spec, and your group setup. I've seen an illusionist parse 900 to a wizard/assasin's 1200ish because he's got his AA specced all dps. Adding a troub or synergism will change your dps by a significant amount. Etc.<div></div>

<P>Myntal, tell Simon he needs to stop peeling! <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>I wish I had more answers but I haven't raided on the coercer yet.</P>

<P>Depend on places in LOA its easy to score close to 800-1000DPS just with reactives/dots toss here charmed pet and you will be scoring closer to 2.5-2.6K DPS aka top of the list</P> <P>In the Labs ... well lucky if you score around 500 .... usually less then that</P> <P>HoS - same like LOA on trash (reactive wise)</P> <P>MOA4 - petless around 600, pet around 1100 more</P> <P>Temple - combined (pet+reactives+dots) around 1000</P> <P>In the group depending on isntace but usually top of the list - in Nizara brigands can come very close to your DPS (of course that includes pet <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ). Pushing very hard in HoF I can stay around 1700-1800DPS (pets: zerker/centurion, a little less with destroyer/biopsyst/infiltrator). In BS around 1300-1400 (pets: darkrain or darkflame) about same in Nizara. Vaults around 1000-1200 (pets are orthalian sentry or warlock type)</P>

<P>800-1000 in LoA without a pet? Are you AA spec'd AGI/INT? I'd love to see that parse, just so I know how I can improve my numbers some. A typical LoA run I'll end up between 300-350 for the whole night, straight buffing, no pet. Thats using reactives and DoTs (all master1s Int over cap) and conc slots full of DPS buffs and the INT/AGI buff (scouts love the INT for the increased poison effectiveness). Do you have Harmonious link on the MT b/c that might bump up DPS some? Is your MT getting hammered proc'ing Auspex alot? Do you use any stuns, stifles, or debuffs that would take time out from DPS? I'll stun stifle and daze usually after an AE, big hit on the MT or aggro change/mem wipe (Tyranix/Elemental Warder) Do you do any mezzing on adds such as from Gnorbyl? Do you move in close to use Sonic Boom when its available? Recast timer reducer in group?</P> <P>I'm just curious how you get these large numbers and any suggestions would be appreciated.</P>

<DIV>My parses always put me in the 250 to 500 range. If I work my tail off at dps I can hit 600.. I would be interested in this 1000 biz myself. I would also be interested in what mobs are charmable on raids... the few times I have tried it doesn't work and its a waste of time and buffs to cancel out my stuff try to charm.. it fail then reapply the buffs during the fights. </DIV>

<P>I myself also wonder these high dps-parsers</P> <P>is this vs 1 mob/encounter or the whole night/zone? (like the average dps-parse of all mobs in LoA is XXX or just one encounter)</P> <P>What is your AA??</P> <P>In how far do you use dam-proccing gear?</P> <P>What type of tank is tanking and what is his avoidance?</P> <P>Are you the only chanter, and does all chanters bother with stunning, stiffling etc?</P> <P> </P> <P>Myself am using a parse the parse the whole zone to have a non-biased parse, also my AA is geared to buff and suriveve to the max in the MT-group (wich I am in 95% of the time, if not 100) and dam-proccing gear can still mess up with mezzing if I forget to put them of (so basicly I don't use a full set of dam-proccing gear) (and I mean that mezz gets ressisted after the proc).</P> <P> </P> <P>I am gladly to see fellow coercers having similair dps than I have, because our dps is based reactives it is easy that a mob doesn't is able to proc melee/spells 3 times a 30 second (wich isn't uncommon for me).</P>

I usually parse in the 300-500 range, but I'm not necessarily spamming DD. I make sure that all of the reactives stay up and try and remember to use our single target DD when its up. Brokk's thermal shocker ftw! <div></div>

<div></div>I can see petless 1k dps being possible in places like HoS, but you'd have to be setup in such a way that everything (AA's, group setup, proc gear) is catered 100% to doing dps.Don't expect to be dealing t1 dps on raids in the MT group while spec'd in STA and WIS. And if anyone has, I'd love to see that parse.. and I don't mean on a mob with 2 hp. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div><p>Message Edited by Tasnus on <span class=date_text>07-24-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:12 PM</span>

I am currently speced Agi 4/8/8/5/8 and Sta 4/4/8(dont feel the need to get deagro, and i enjoy fast casting in the MT group) in HoS i parse (in the MT group) anywhere from 700-1000 on most fights. If i have a troub, my dps goes up 200-300 dps just from maestro. I have a lot of different proc items such as Circlet/Gown of Glory/Hands of the Savant/Bone-clasped girdle/Grizz/Fitz/Fingerbone/Ring of Supremacy/Orb of the invoker. I've still got atleast 4-5 more items on my proc wish list before i am finished with my dps gear. If I had a troub/inq/illusionist with Agi/Int speced, and a few more pwr procing items to hold my pwr between 1-30% while all out dps + all my dmg procing item on my wishlist . I bet i could do 1500-1800 dps consistantly on most fights, but thats asking a lot for a coercer and would probably never get it all that, but you gota have a dream.<div></div>

<DIV>So, the answer to my OP is that dps parses can be all over the board as our AA distribution is different from coercer to coercer and the varied number of procing items worn. But generally speaking, a "common" coercer should be doing 350-500 DPS, whereas coercers with AA spec'd for dps (INT/AGI) can reach into the 800 dps range. Sprinkle in some procing gear and you can add another 200 dps to the equasion.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone have 13 plat so I can respec? =)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>AGI Maxed and all remaining AA points in STA</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Proc Gear</DIV> <DIV>Orb Invoker</DIV> <DIV>BCG</DIV> <DIV>Godking Staff</DIV> <DIV>Spirit Feast (The orb thing from the epic in Forsaken City)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In labs I usually parse 700-900 on Droag encounters of 2 or 3. Drakes resist alot more and parse around 400-500. Everything else like Excarnates, Ruiners, Terror Organs, etc.. between 600-800. This takes into account that I try to always hex at the start of every fight. I am not in a raiding guild so don't have parses from other T7 zones but did go to Poets Palace the other night. WOOT! Consistantly over 2K but was always out DPS'd by both the Furies LOL. Fun Fun!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cheers,</DIV> <DIV>Eidolen</DIV>
