<DIV>I am level 43, and I was grouped last night with a few guildies, a level 38 warden and brigand (both of whom dinged 39) and one level 35 warlock. We went off to LS for some fun. I charmed one of the level 42/43 goblins from the first cave, and we proceeded to kill mobs mostly for writs and quests. Nothing too spectacularly difficult.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Eventually my pet died, and so I went to grab another one. This time I charmed a level 45 lava crawler. We buffed it up, pulled, killed the group, and went to move on, when the lvl 35 warlock said he hadn't gotten experience. The only thing that had changed since the last kill was the warden had dinged, and I had a new pet. We don't think the warden, who was in the middle of the level range, would affect him getting experience, so we decided to pull again. Again, the warlock didn't get any experience. We canned the pet, then the warlock disbanded, and joined again. No message about not getting experience.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As long as I kept my pets under level 43 (my level) the warlock would get experience, but if I charmed anything higher than 43, he wouldn't. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but I think this is just a bit... off. My pets level should not affect whether or not someone in my group is getting experience. I didnt mind charming lower level stuff when I'm with lower level people, but it did kind of limit us on what we could and couldn't kill. I was a little grumpy that I couldn't use my higher level pets as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So has anyone else noticed this? I know its a pretty rare occurance that the highest level in the group is the coercer, and that they are charming even higher level mobs, but it is something that is going to affect my ability to hang out with my guildmates.</DIV>
