<DIV>This one change is bringing me back, I've created/deleted at least 6 Coercers since I started playing this game because the charmed pets dont stay charmed very long or I needed the character slot for something more important. The class intrigues me to no end, the thoughts on what the class could be capable amaze me, but it got old recharming a pet every 60-90 seconds, perhaps this will help.</DIV>
<P>Welcome back, but this shouldn't be a monumental change. Charm already lasts for the duration pretty well. I still get early breaks once in a while, but it typically just works. I'm not sure what you're doing wrong - maybe you just need to stick with it, as I think the lowest level charm only lasts 5 minutes max right?</P> <P>I have better uses for my few concentration slots anyway, when grouped, than to use my group mental resist buff. This fix would be HUGE if it also included the preist mentla buffs. Symbold of naltron etc... Would make life in places like Nazari or HoF much easier from a group relations point of view. <div></div>

It is not just a group mental resist buff. It also buffs up Magic and Divine, AND also adds power to you and your group members. I do agree though that my pet breaks alot even without the buff. I had to log out of game last night after my pet broke insanely early 4x in a row and got me killed each time. Its those times I wish I had an illusionsist.

My Apprentice 1 Charm doesnt last as long for some reason, Still averaging 3.5 minutes or so. Maybe Rough Coral will drop in price enough in the next 3 years that I can have an Adept III made :smileytongue: Does INT have anything to do with the resistability of the charm, initially or during the duration? My INT is almost capped on this Coercer, and was about 20 points lower on my last one becuase I couldnt finish the one set of quests that gave me some nice INT items.</FONT> </P>

Your tier1 mental resist buff is so minimal that I wouldn't think it would have much effect on resists.<div></div>
