<P>Compare power cost, duration, and resistability.  Your judgement is the determining factor.</P> <P>Personally, I feel that a lower level master will outperform all but it's replacement master.  The replacement adept 3 will usually be on par with the effects of the old master, but slightly more power cost, and slightly easier to resist.</P> <P>Try to get all masters in T6, and you will not need to upgrade or use your T7 abilities at all.</P> <P>Charm:  Master level here is required.  I've only had Ad3's of the charm line, and while I hold my own, and can do a lot with the pet, I know I'm falling far behind what folks can do with the Master.</P> <P>Mez:  Master, or Adept 3, really no difference.  I'll use the previous tier Master (generally 5 sec less mez time for a bit more power, and 9% or so easier to resist) over the current Ad3, unless going against orange mobs, who tend to resist me.</P>
