View Full Version : Any point in solo coercer after LU 24?

So last week I made a coercer, why? I've heard they were good for soloing, not quick, but good.Having played a wizzy to level 50 (who couldn't solo much at all before level 45 (that might've been player skill of course<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />)), I was quite used to being killed by green heroics. I wanted to try something better than that.Anyway, with the new changes proposed over at the Combat board, it seems that Coercers will be better in raid, and less good for soloers.But then, my coercer is only level 10, so I'm not really into the whole thing quite yet, so could any of you enlighten me as to what this means precicely?<div></div>

I was talking about all the people whining in the dev thread about not being able to solo as effectivly anymore, hence, I asked for clarification here. Thanks, I think.<div></div>

<DIV>Oki here is your answer while solo even if you solo multiple heroic ENCOUNTERS at same you do not relay on AoE mez .... never did btw. AoE mez was question of convinience - you can do same things with single target mez and root-mez (yes our root have 12s mez applied on impact). It pretty much like reverting Clarity line from infinitive duration on single target 10 min recast timer</DIV>

There are no changes to non-raiding Enchanters besides the AoE Mez change. Everything else based on that post is not being changed.

Significant change against multi-mob encounters but does it mean that I can't lock down 3-5 ^^^ mobs? Nope, still can crowd control those like its going outta style. <div></div>
