<div>This morning I was unable to cast charm or coerce. Message said NOT ENOUGH CONCENTRATION - but my concentration was 3 ( I had signet of intuition, recklessness and one other on me).</div><div> </div><div>I have never had this happen before -- could someone explain to me what the problem is. I usually have those buffs up and have always been able to cast Charm.</div>

<div><blockquote><hr>Aranieq wrote:<div></div>you nee 3 open conc slots to charm<hr></blockquote>I didn't understand that then - I thought I needed 3 full to charm -- I guess I don't understand how concentration works then. Is their any place I can read about it?</div><div>Thanks for your help much appreciated.</div>

Last night I had 2 conc slots used up with buffs. I then charmed something. I wanted to put recklessness on it but realized I was full on conc slots. So I dropped a buff, still 5 used up slots. Dropped another, still 5 used up slots, and another till I had no buffs on. I then still had 5 used up slots.

I noticed this as well the other night while going through splitpaw. The problem is you're still maintaining buffs on your pet as well, so you're still using the conc. slots.I found the easiest way was to dismiss the pet then recharm. It clears out the buffs you had on the pet.<div></div>

What an annoying bug, but thanks for the workaround.

<div>When canceling the spells, were you canceling from the maintained window, or the buff window? Canceling them from the maintained should cancel them for group as well. You can cancel on the buff window so that you are maintaining without canceling it for the whole group.</div><div> </div><div>I think you can also click the con slot itself to drop the effect.</div>

Good question, I believe it was the maintained window, but I may have only done it in my buff window. If so, doh!
