<DIV>Hi All,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just wanting to hear your experience with this spell. I got it the other day and tested it out a few times on a friendly group, after 3 goes I found it to be very ordinary. It seemed to take the power down to the lowest common level. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I.E  6 players, 4 almost full power 2 players 50% cast channel all players 50%.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I must say after my brief testing I am unliekly to use it in a pressure situation as I dont really trust it to work properly, I look forward to hearing from those that use it as to how they find it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cheers</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>thinking about this, it might have looked as if all went to 50% but keep in mind that a mages bar prolly won't jump like a fighters bar will because this is counting the raw numbers, not %</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>like 2 fighters have 500 and the 2 mages have 1000 and the 2 priests have 100 each.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>use this, it pools the 500+500+1000+1000+100+100=3200</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>then it takes 3200/6=530 power each.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the mages took a huge hit to their power, the fighters stayed the same, but the priests got 5x their power in one shot, but by % the mages lost about 50% the priests gained 400% and the fighters are still at 100% basically.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think this is how the move works, but I might be wrong. If I am, just disregard this crap.</DIV>

I find this spell very useful when power XPing or Raids when the tank runs out of power, you just got to be careful when you use it.

I used in in a guild group without warning anyone just to see what would happen.  Healer..."what the hell just happened!"  She was down about 40%. Necro "HEY! what was that!"  She was down about 40% as well. Tank that had been low on power.   "Woo thanks for the power." It's definitely situational and I rarely use it when one or two members are always running low on power and we have to stop for breaks cause of them.  Channel and they are at least half full...everyone else takes a hit but with my regen going they are full up very quickly.  <div></div>

<P>Concidering you will probably have the largest, or nearly largest power pool... due to the large amount of Int gear available... This spell is best used if you are the one providing the bulk of the power. To do this, you must refrain from going crazy and reserve some power... This also requires you to know whats going on ahead of time, or if the encounter is going to be a long grind...refering to raid encounters. Thats where this spell is usefull, and i've used it most when i'm in the MT group, where the tank is needing some extra power and the healers in the group are getting low. Typically, I'll reserve power for such occations and maybe borrow some from the other (non healing / buff) people in the group.</P> <P>Sivitar<BR>60 Coercer<BR>Equinox - Innothule</P>

This spell would be way cooler if it balanced based on percentage of mana, rather than numerical values.<div></div>

Use it when someone in your group is dead.<div></div>

<P>Thanks for th replies all, I was hoping this would be handy for raids and from your replies it seems it may be in certain situations. I think I will have to do some more testing to get familiar with it so I have a better idea what will happen in each circumstance.</P> <P> </P> <P>Cheers</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>well as if the devs really know anything about coercers but if they didn't know about the channel + dead group member thing they do now. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Also the usefulness of this spell depends on the quality you have it at. There is total powerloss depending on the level the spell is at, master 1 the power loss is negligible. I've had it at adept1, adept3 and now have it at master1. At adept1 it was unusable, the power loss was very noticeable. Adept3 is basically what it should be at, almost no power loss or nothing that can be really seen. Master1 is great, I cant see any powerloss and is a very useful spell. Depending on longer fights where you can see you are going to need to channel. Putting on a manacloak early is good to keep your tanks at full or near full power so you can steal some of theres for the healers, Also using transfer essence, vicious torment and gorging thoughts (I have masters) is a great way to keep the total power topped up. Its not incredibly useful all the time, but can turn the tide of a fight with some correct timing. Good luck with it <div></div>

<P>I just got this upgraded to master I.  I use it quite often in raid situations.  If there is a ranger in the group it is great.  Rangers seldom go real low on power and my power is usually fairly high.  It really is a judgement call based on the encounter and on your goup in a raid.  It is on a 15 minute timer so you can not use it too early in the fight.  I will start considering using it when the mob hits below 30% health.  If I have 2 healers low, a DPS low and my power is up I will hit it.</P> <P>There is another trick to using this, but I hesitate to mention it, because, while not anything that I consider a bug or exploit or anything I am doing wrong, someone might review it and decide it was not the way they intended it, and WAMMO, nerf!!  If you use this spell you probably already have discovered it and know what I mean.  Again, not an exploit as far as I can tell.  I just do not want to ask if this is what the design team intended.</P> <P> </P>

<P>I tend to agree Froozle, having it only at Ad1 at the moment it is very close to unuseable....or... I am yet to find a situation where it is a good idea to cast it. Some of the comments I have had from freindly guildies need not be repeated :smileywink:</P> <P>I will take your advice and upgrade it, once again I appreciate the info.</P> <P> </P> <P>Cheers</P>
