<DIV>So, I just got combatstats guys, and it picks up my damage fine, but I can't get it to record charmed pets as my pets damage. Instead I gotta add whatever mobs name as a group member and can't fight mobs with the same name cause of the damage blurring together. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Since you guys have posted parses I was wondering if you could give me a detailed instruction on how to set this thing of for good efficient charmed pet parses?</DIV>

I'm no combatstats expert, but I don't think there is a way other than how you've been doing it- by just adding the charmed pet as a group member. In fact, last night I couldn't even get it to parse a necro's pet that had been renamed. Since he had given it a name, combatstats no longer picked it up as <X's whatever> like they used to be. When I tried to just use the pet's given name it didn't parse that either, I assume because the full name is Name <X's whatever>. However, the full name was too long to fit into the group list input box, so there was no way for me to parse the pet's damage. Like I said though, I'm not much of an expert on this program, so there may be methods or other workarounds that I don't know about. You could try asking on the combatstats forums as well, if you haven't already. PigLick <div></div>

<div></div><p>Hi,Me and a friend have just launched a new project called Adventure Assistant. Although this is not aimed just at combat it does include combat parsing. Pets are included in this and, I am glad to say, does work <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. The analysis done in AA goes beyond that of CombatStats in many areas, which I believe will be found useful by most players.Adventure Assistant will be an ongoing project, being developed continually with the functionality that players request.Take a look: http://www.adventure-assistant.co.uk/. All feedback, ideas, bug reports etc are more then welcome.<span></span></p><div></div>
