Combine next 3 spells - Ravaged Psyche, Despair and Mind Rack and not a single heroic mob have chance to stand against coercer. Charm will help for solo and for group because layout of 99% dangeons is assumes presence of no arrow up at the entrance of zone. Coercer will get nice perks against epic mobs limited stifle, couple curses like spell scrouge and haruspex.... But dont get over excited - DPS w/o pet will remain weak because DD, DoTs are been severelly nerfed</DIV> <DIV>Warlock - become different class - hard to say better or worst but major nerf for warlocks is losing superior power regeneration and increase casting time. 4s casting time for most nukes ..... its harsh. Warlock getting whole array of "sinergetic" spells so it will be like that if you have 2 warlock in 1 group it same like you have 3 warlock in different group, 3 warlock in same group will posses roughly power of 5 warlocks spreaded around. AoE DPS of warlock will be notably increased and probably top-end warlocks should easy score 1200-1400DPS vs. group of 5. If HPs of mob will not change much warlocks will still in great shape vs. heroic groups. Devastation can now will score ~7.5K per mob (1.5k/tic 4 tic +1.5k on impact) (assuming int of warlock 350+). plus Devastation gain 3s encounter stun in the end, Nil Absolution at M1 lvl hit mob well over 2K every 16s (4s cast 12s recast) toss here Abysimal Fury that will hit encounter for about 1K and you will get about 10K damage per mob within single round of attack for warlock. Yes stuns been lost except emergency one (2s cast 4s duration +1200DD attached to it). Roots are sucks Bony is 15s duration 45s recast and brakable but if root can survive 1 round of DD it could be enouth. Single target DPS will remain about same but soloing single heroic mob will be much harder</DIV>

<P>Cool, thanks man.</P> <P>You had me worried.  Usually you cannot shut you up and lately we hear nothing from you.</P> <P>I am glad to see the Warlock lost there roots and stuns.  It makes me feel better that they did not enhance the Illusionist stuns.  Well 1 second increase but who is counting.</P> <P>I think Charm is going to be great for Coercers.  In EQ1 Charm was a blast and ten minute no breaks means you can actually leave the machine and go to the bathroom, lol.  This was impossible in EQ1.  Random breaks would kill you in a sec.  Charm will be alot of fun for you and offer lots of interesting strategic possibilities.  </P>

<P>As I said before every sane warlock knew that roots and stuns gona be nerfed so noone made a big deal of it - major nerf is canibalization line and casting time of spell and to some extend increase power cost of spells</P> <P>Even gazzillion point nuke wont do you any good if you cannt get it off but still with very high int you can kill outright any solo encounters cosisted from 3-6 1-3 arrow down mobs (harclave). Root got casting time reduced to pull with Devastation (at least 5K per mob), then root, nuke with Nil Distortion (at least 2K per mob) if root did not survived then nuke with Dark Nebula (AE stun + AE nuke ~900) After this you should knock out any mob within encounter via single nuke</P> <P>Interesting enouth that out-of-combat power regeneration will start play a lot more important role then it do now so get your "intution" effect items ready <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>
