Guys, they know we're mad - but I think any further complaining will just make us look like children flailing our arms and screaming in a grocery store. So lets give them a little time(though they've had alot already), and see if they address anything in the next week or two.

Wrong....

Long talks did us nowether and got us nerfed instead of fixing you know it I l know it - everyone here know it. I'm going to say this here, this one time: Tan, you should use a different, less currently political term than, "Jihad." It's bad for your image and the fact that you represent the Coercer community (to whatever degree) means that it affects the rest of us. I do not seek to question your outspoken-ness, just your choice of words.Oh yeah, sorry for the jack!
Message Edited by kil5t3lr on 03-17-2005 03:09 PM

As a former EQ1 magician, I rolled a new enchanter and lvled to 65 because mages were soo gimped on raids. Sony Online Entertainment is a business that has internal priorities that we will never be able to reliably predict. They will not admit to their customers that issues are beyond their ability to understand/comprehend/react to etc. Do to financial, workload, staffing, skillsets etc. I'm not trying to justify what they do, but as customers we have very very specific needs, and as an entertainment provider they have a very broad range of expectations that they constantly try to juggle and present in the most favorable manner. Thus far I think they have done an admirable job. I'd go so far as to say they have been OVER reacting and creating more work for themselves, thus, in our eyes, digging themselves in deeper. Their biggest issues is customer/account attraction and retentions. If those 2 goals are not being met, you can be sure that 80% of their effort is being put fourth to acheive those revenue goals. my 2 cp

The problem with rerolling once your not happy with your class is that SOE does not care. As long as you pay the money every month, they are in no rush to fix classes. Now.... if you dont like your class and feel like its gimped beyond belief AND cancel your account SOE may listen. Money talks. Just imagine if ALL the Coercers canceled their accounts.

LOL yea good point. If all Coercers canceled their accounts, SOE would not lose much money since NOBODY Plays Coercers.

Guys, its not that I'm pleased or even satisfied - but it doesn't seem like our little bout on the Spells/Combat Arts forum did much. You honestly think the only reason we were "balanced" was because Mayo complained till he was blue in the face? How could the developers even consider anything Mayo says as truth? His numbers are wrong, and his statements are nothing but speculation and arguement. He had no foundation for the supposed "point" he made. He just threw numbers up randomly to make them sound bad. I don't think we need our Power Taps to be as strong as they were, but I hate what they've done to them - They're useless. But complaining doesn't seem to do much aside from aggrivate the developers. And yes, our class has so many holes in it, its almost not worth playing. But tell me this, how complaining and quarrelling is going to help anything? Do you really think the developers spend the time reading stupid arguements between the people on the forums?
