<DIV>I'll start with complains first</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Basically I have only 2 problem with Beguile which drive me nuts</DIV> <DIV>First and foremost after Charm brake mob keep ALL group buffs - most funny thing I ever see my poor attempt drain power from mob who happens to have Clarity and Mind Eye running ... no luck. Anyhow we need to know group buffs attached to mob after charm ware off is design or bug?</DIV> <DIV>Second thing that drive me nuts it innability recharm SAME mob twice - it "could" be inderectly related to first problem. Coercer have very serious Mentral resistance buffs - those buffs mob keeping upon droping charm - result? - Beguile wont stick. Probably there is a way around - once charm gone we need cast dispell magic on mob then try charm again</DIV> <DIV>One thing I am not 100% certain but there are several special moves that SK (I think) have that have buit-in - remove magic effect attached - those skills will brake charm</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now about positive things</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Charmed mob keep all thier special abilitys - caster will nuke, melee mob will do special attack (barrage, crushing blow, wild swing)</DIV> <DIV>Charmed mob very easy to operate and it do very notable DPS within encounter. Imo and stictly imo fully group buffed charmed mob DPS >>> regular DPS of coercer. In a sence this spell very usefull for 3+ mob per encounter and somethat usefull for 2 mob type encounter. It is possible to use it within multigroup encounter but - bear in mind 2 drawbacks I have mention above - mob will kill all group buffs once if goes on lose and recharming same mob .... nearly impossible</DIV> <DIV>Oh ya actually you can move and do what ever you want while charm up - it wont brake it</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now about things I dont care or found it balanced</DIV> <DIV>36 second duration and recast timer - usually it enouth to deal with single encounter </DIV> <DIV>Inablity to charm 2 arrow up mobs - if we would able do so - it will trivilize many encounters a lot</DIV>
<BR> <DIV> <DIV><EM>First and foremost after Charm brake mob keep ALL group buffs - most funny thing I ever see my poor attempt drain power from mob who happens to have Clarity and Mind Eye running ... no luck. Once a player leaves a group those group buffs leave too. I would think the same would hold for a MOB that has left the group.</DIV></DIV>

<DIV>I still think that Charm needs to be our defining spell. I think we should be able to cast over the existing charm to refreash it or they need to let it last 1m or 2.</DIV>

<DIV>What's funny is I've successfully cast it on 2 different mobs in one encounter. </DIV>

<DIV>I can confirm oppsosite</DIV> <DIV>If you have charmed pet and casting charm on other mob it automatically cancel charm on first mob</DIV>

<DIV>Interesting ..</DIV> <DIV>I have tried use multiple charmed pet during named Tyrr gaint fight in Solusek Eye but as soon as I land beguile on second mob - first mob broke lose. More over I did not seen second pet window pop either</DIV>
well I was able to charm up to 3 grey pets and controlled them all by my one pet window. Was pretty funny to have a group of orks under my control. Nothing for real use tho, as you will die pretty fast if you do this in real groups).
<DIV>Greetings,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The other big issue with the Beguile spell is that after the charm wears off and the former pet is now buffed to the gills, if you cast "Dispel Arcane" it will cancel ALL of your party's group buffs! I tested this throughly and each time I cast "Dispel Arcane" (no matter if it's 1 second or 20 seconds after the charm breaks) it will cancel all group buffs in your party. That includes all those lovely priest group buffs as well. So you either have to deal with a fully buffed former pet coming to eat your lunch, or have your party lose all their group buffs!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Peace and safe travels,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Josza - lvl 38 Coercer</DIV> <DIV>The Walking Dead - Liaison Officer</DIV> <DIV>Lucan D'Lere</DIV>
