Daunting Gaze

<DIV>I use this spell a ton at 27 still, but I was wondering how long it remains viable.  Do you still use this at 35...40...50?  Or do you get a message saying it won't work on this mob (I've begun to get this message with my lower level nuke).</DIV>

You get the message saying that it wont work on this monster. You get unnerving stare really soon which is the upgrade to daunting. I know they increased the range that daunting works not to long ago, but that was after I had already stopped using it.

<DIV>You get an upgrade to Daunting as an ability (forget the name atm).  I suggest getting that as it stretches the usefulness for a few more levels.  I found it very helpful to have 2 stuns for that duration.  I'm only now at 36 starting to see the "too powerful" messages on the ability.  It was priceless to have Unnerving and the ability upgrade while soloing in EL 28-36.</DIV>

<DIV>I used my early training for the update to Fascinate.  It is just now starting to fail on lvl 30+ mobs.  The updated Trait-mez lasts 42 sec vs ~30 sec, so it has actually been more used than my upgrade mez.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Both Daunting Gaze and Fascinate traits should cease working at about the same time.</DIV>
