The stun you get from your lvl 20 training is linked to the reset of unnerving stare, so basicly is worthless if you have it. So don't make the same mistake I did and take it thinking you would have 2 stuns. Im sure the mezz is liked to mesmerize as well which makes it pretty worthless as well. Id take the root nuke since Despotic mind and muddled thinking's resets are also now linked, but ego strike is not.Really wish SoE would have said something about this before we made our choices, would have made my selection different.On a side note, the extended duration breeze ROCKS!!!
Pretty worthles... but not completly... .the reason is the duration is longer.. The mes ability lasts for 50 seconds where the mes spell lasts for 40s. I would imagine the stun is longer too...

Also for the lvl 10 trianing I chose the buff and didnt even get an icon, in the process of a petition right now.

<DIV>As we all know with ae mez being useless and a single target mez with a 9 sec recast time is hardly worth it we are quickly being replaced in groups for more dps since we have no main function and groups have learned that cc isnt a big deal in eq2 I was hoping for a little break but it doesnt matter to much im currently not playing my coercer anyway (I was hoping this would give me a reason to play him again and make the class a bit more worth playing). </DIV>

<DIV>Its not a biggie, if you need to mez more than 2 mobs anyway, you should most likely be doing AE damage instead</DIV>

It does, however, have a lower level max than mesmerise. There were several mobs in Runnyeye I could not mes with reverie, but could with mesmerise.</P> <P>I don't think its necessarily a replacement 100% of the time, but an extra 10-15 secs is more than you may think when you CAN use it.</P> <P>Cyene</P>

its an upgrade to fascinate no mesmerize it ups the level of fascinate to about 35 and soon it should be unlinked to mesmerize but not fascinate so it should be useful to have a 2nd mes for longer

However would have been great to have at lvl 20. Because there was a couple lvls that I couldn't land daunting gaze on anything worth killing.At the time when I got it (lvl 31) it made it worthless and I wish I had chosen the root nuke instead. That might not be the case for someone at lvl 20 getting it when they are supposed to get it. I was just putting a warning out to all other coercers that had gotten unnerving stare that this ability was not worth getting thats all.
