Ok im sure i'm not the only Coercer that frustrated about our spells/abilities 1. Fun Spells-- Our lvl 20 "fun" spells are not fun, and completely unbalanced. sk's/pallys get a horse, other classes get familiars (yeah probably useless but still much better than ours) Ours only makes someone laugh or dance and only if they are grouped AND lower lvl than you 2. Illusions-- No illusions until level 30???? and then only the verminous Ratonga? (an insult to the teir'dal) Give me a break... an enchanter with no illusions? That makes no sense at all. Yes i know, before you say it there is a class for illusionist, but thyre saying that enchanters, and then coercers shouldnt get any until level 30 and then only 1?? That's ridiculous. 3. Armor--Nearly every mage ive seen if not all of them still have the lvl 10 robe, while light, and medium armor drop left and right and you see pages and pages of them at the brokers, but you see absolutely no robes for sale nor do you find robe quests. No one in my guild except the mages are still wearing their lvl 10 chest pieces even in the upper teens, while yuo got tier 3 zones and still see mages in thier lvl 10 robes, thats not balanced, and then when people do the lvl 20 armor quests it's more of the same... everyone wearing the same gear (cookie cutter characters) 4. Very Light Armor crafting---Why is it that outfitters can make good sets of armor for fighters, scouts and priests, but a lvl 20 tailor cant make anything that a lvl 20 mage would want to wear?? Come on Dev's use your head.

<DIV>a) who give a danm about fun spells?</DIV> <DIV>b) who give a danm about illusions ? I am coercer not illusionist</DIV> <DIV>c) there are at least 3 option for low 20s armor - first pristine tailored from tier 3 material, second is Fine Silk quest from Varsoon ruin (net Robe which is ok) and thier very light armor quest part 6. I remember days in EQ1 then at lvl 20 as a necro I was waring Senior Aprentice robe (heh it was nice purpur color thou)</DIV> <DIV>d) somethat agree here you need things tailored from tier 3 materials to be worth while to use but dont get swat my jewels (I am lvl 20 jeweler) was not worth much either from tier 2 material </DIV>

That was my point, for us its a "fun" spell but while some get horses, you used to have to be way advanced to get one without buying it (as a sk/pally), and no i dont want them to take the horses away from sk's (pallys maybe, lol), but at least give the other classes something comparable, let's face it a horse is awesome, even if it isnt as good as the better horses, but we get cheesy spells that are supposed to be an equal reward for reaching lvl 20. One would gather that if youre a coercer ( or insert your class here if it's a similar case) that getting level 20 isnt as much of an achievement as getting lvl 20 as a sk/pally, based on the reward. b. Who gives a **mods 4 teh win!!1!** about illusions? Me and im willing to guess a ton of other people, it's an easy solution... give illusionists most of the illusions, or better ones, but coercers are advanced enchanters, and enchanters cast illusions, yes or no? obviously not anymore, but i wont go away quietly. c. thanks for the tip about the armor though, i didnt know about those

<DIV>The only thing I will speak to here is the fun spells. I will say they do not affect the way I play or the way a group with others or even what I do in a group. But, there are many other classes that *want* to get their fun spells. Why would we care about making someone do an emote? It just doesn't make any sense to me how this actually made it in as a fun spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am not sure what we could have that would be better that also aligns with our class but I know if it stays the way it is they will almost never ever get used. It is just very dumb. There are other people in the game now that ask what I got for my fun spells and I just tell them I did not get any. It is too embarassing to tell them....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-=Suriana=-</DIV>

<DIV>B) about the only one I will comment on; Like Tanatus said, we are coercer's no Illusionist. Be happy we get any at all. I'm sure the Illusionist are complaining about how we get beguile and they don't. Sure they can summon a lil pet that last for a lil while but its nothing like controlling something's mind. There are some issues with the mez/stun conflicts that I think the devs need to concentrate more on then this.<BR></DIV>

<DIV>More about robes...</DIV> <DIV>Yestoday I been fortunate enouth to vanquish named tailor in RoV and to my big supprise he droped a robe (very light armor) - unfortunally I cannt use it for 1 more lvl (MA for it 145 which corresponds to clvl 29)</DIV> <DIV>More about illusions...</DIV> <DIV>Illusionist cannt cast em on others .... we can. More over if you so desperate about shape shifting - complete collection of race bones - reward is petrified eye *insert name of race here* - if you have in your invetory corresponding bone (any actually will work) and pertified eye - you can change shape into race of the eye. Atm I have completed DE bone collection (doh I am DE myself) and about to finish barbarian and halfing bone collection which give me 2 more illusions</DIV>

<DIV>Wow thats nice to know Tantalus i may start clicking on those ?'s again hehehe, i havent been because i dont want to fill my quest log with **mods 4 teh win!!1!** collection quests that take forever.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Does turning into the race use up the bone like a regenant? or how does that work..just collect all 8-9 peices..you finish the quest then need to have one of those bones in your inventory to use the eye? does it eat the 8-9 and you need to get one more to carry around?</DIV>

<DIV>Fortunally for you it requied very few bones (5 or 6 from scattered to enchanted I think 5) - once you collect em - visit your local collector in EFP he will give you a lot exp and petrified eye. In order to make eye work you need bone of corresponding race (quality dont matter). During casting illusion bone <STRONG><EM>not </EM></STRONG>consumes... Actually lol I am really looking forward for getting ogre illusion or at least troll - been a biger then most folks in the group help a bit with CC plus heh I can imagine Mondor - orc coercer .... fun....lol</DIV>

(same goes for empathic link). </P> <P>c) the cast time for bewilder and equal stuns that are supposed to lower aggro on us is way to long to make this spell usefull imo.</P>
