<DIV>Not sure on the other non combat spells but there is a big difference on Breeze. I have gone from app1 to app3 to adept1 to adept3 and each upgrade changes your power regained per tick. Considering you dont get to upgrade to Clarity till level 47, getting this to adept3 made this key to me. <DIV>Get both Melancholy and DM to Adept 3 you will use it all way up to lvl 42 and dont foget get Adept 3 at very least for Muddled thinking too</DIV> <DIV>I have Master 1 MT and using it over Adept 1 Seizure for 2 reason it cost a lot less power to cast and it do a lot more damage</DIV>

<DIV>Everything simple ...</DIV> <DIV>Spasm doing laughtable damage that's for 1 second thing it not carry debuff like Gloom do</DIV> <DIV> Spasm and Gloom are blong to "enchantment" skill and all spells above 20 is Protean - hence they stack....</DIV> <DIV>Gloom carry massive arcane debuff component that stack with next in line spells</DIV> <DIV>Aka you can stack Gloom + Melancholy or Gloom + Despair but cannt do same for Melancholy + Despair</DIV> <DIV>Presence of Gloom on target so to speak greatly increase potency of your nukes</DIV> <DIV>At lvl 45 you'll get your final and stongest resistance debuff Ravage Psyche but still before you start nuking you will always do 3 things - cast RP, cast Gloom, cast Despair and only then procced with full nuking</DIV>
<DIV>dont bother buying any upgrades , just use your previous spells with adepts if you have them they will do the same damage as your new spells at adept, only difference is you wont be able to cast some old spells on higer level mobs</DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>I was wondering about what people thought about upgrading tier 1 spells (in case you run into a copper or rough lapis). Does anyone use Static Pulse at higher levels? I realize the damage is laughable, but I recall it having an arcane mitigations debuff component. At level 29 I stack Gloom (Adept3) Melancholy (Adept1) Cerebral Spasm (Adept1) and Static Pulse (App3 too lazy to scribe an App4) because it is quick to do. They all stack (unless I am missing something). Am I wasting my time with the lowbie dot(s) (pulse and spasm)?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>Zanshin</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>

It works well as a pull spell, as it sticks an initial debuff, making it easier to land Spasm, and Gloom.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Other than the extra reach, and the slight debuff, there's not much use for it. I get single digit damage pulses out of it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's not a huge difference, but every couple of points add up when you can only stand to be hit 3 times...</DIV>
