<DIV>Just curious, why the heck does 3 out of the first 4 pieces of our lvl 20 quest armors have wisdom and not intelligence bonuses? As far as I know, wisdom has no benefit to a Coercer, does it?</DIV>

http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=25&message.id=346&highlight=wisdom#M346The above links to a post by Nerwen containing the following info and more:---------------------------------Enchanter Class Guide11/17/2004Author: Daniel Cliffordhttp://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/classes/playguide.vm?classId=25Intelligence – Intelligence modifies how much damage your character inflicts with magic-based attacks.Wisdom – The higher your character's wisdom, the more successful they will be at both landing and avoiding magic-based attacks.---------------------------------So if this is true I guess all of us coming from games like D&D, EQ1 etc., thinking mages are intelligence based casters as opposed to priests being wisdom based, have chosen to raise the wrong stat as we are crowd controllers who are more interested in landing our mez spells on the mob instead of doing more damage.Edit: First link was wrong.<p>Message Edited by Thila on <span class=date_text>12-04-2004</span> <span class=time_text>09:55 AM</span>

<DIV>Then I guess so are wizards, seeing as all int and no wis will make it hard for any caster to land spells on raid mobs. All of a sudden those couple of extra points of damage dont seem all that worthwhile.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Seems strange though, my lowbie priest has highier wisdom than my chanter did at that lvl and he has extreme (70%+)  resists on highier level mobs my chanter had no problem soloing. </DIV>
