Does anyone know exactly how the Coercer mid 30's charm spell works? Might be too earlier, maybe no players at that level to tell about it but I was wondering is it an actualy NPC/Mob charm spell that allows you to take take control of and command an NPC/Mob? Thanks in advance for any help.

It is my understanding that it is a Charm that will allow you to control the NPC and have it fight for you. If that is not the case then I will not be a happy Coercer.

Emalia 21 Coercer // Oasis (My Oasis from RL)

Charm will allow you to take control of a mob significantly lower then you Green or Grey I believe it was in BETA, and no you cannot control the mob. It will attack the NPC you attack then the charm will break and it will turn on you. However this could of been changed since I played.

In EQ Enchanters could use a summoned pet or a charmed pet. It looks like they combined the worst parts of both of those for the EQ2 charmed pets. I don't mind it being green or gray, or that charm can break, but what's the point if you can't control it. It would really only be useful when soloing single MoBs. Other than that it's nothing but a weak mez breaker that could turn on you at any time causing more trouble than they're worth. I'd rather have the Wizzards' familiar.
