I've got a 59 Coercer I've been considering betraying to Illusionist.. In your opinions which do you think is more usefull raid wise?I want to focus on mezz's and pwr regen... Are Illusionists good with this?I can solo pretty effectively charming pets.. and can do some awesome damage with charmed caster pets... how is your twin in comparison?<div></div>

<DIV>if ur gonna betray to illusionist, u need to change ur mindset. we are NOT chanters - we are DPS. we do DPS, and we buff DPS, and all those mezzes and stuff are just some extra utility, kinda like necro rezzes and hearts and FD.</DIV>

Forgive me for asking, what spell mem wipes save for current target?

<DIV>Illusory Allies is the closest we have........but you have to convince the silly Allies to last the full 15 seconds. Even that is not a true wipe tho because you will still have agro. In reality, no, we can't do this as Illusionists.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- Myrh</DIV> <P>Message Edited by kavic44 on <SPAN class=date_text>01-30-2007</SPAN> <SPAN class=time_text>04:51 AM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by kavic44 on <span class=date_text>01-30-2007</span> <span class=time_text>04:53 AM</span>

<blockquote><hr>MarquisDesade wrote:Forgive me for asking, what spell mem wipes save for current target?<hr></blockquote>I believe that would be Phase.

<DIV>but phase only whipes MOST aggro from mob.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>dunno if the coercer gets a spell that whipes ALL aggro from the mob.... maybe there is a difference in these 2 spells</DIV>

Coercers do get a mem wipe. They use it to split vyemn in labs. Im on a pvp server and we only get good aligned classes so no mem wipe to split the mobs. Its why I was asking. Looks like there is a mem wipe aa line but no go for epics.

There is a tinkered item that functions the same as the coercers memwipe, and yes it works on epics. It's got a 75% chance to wipe all aggro except for the casters, it's insta cast, unlimited charges, 2 second refresh time and anyone who can tinker enough to craft it can use it. (the actual name it some horrid nonsense tinkered name and I can never remember it the something stereopticon?, but it does take around 340 tinkering to craft/use)<p>Message Edited by Kahna on <span class=date_text>02-06-2007</span> <span class=time_text>06:30 AM</span>

<DIV>you dont need to memwipe vyemm.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>there is at least one more way to split the counter, without a coercer. and phase from illus wont work on epics, so no use to improve that achievment line...</DIV>

<DIV>Phase works fine on epics.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So does the Qullious god mem wipe, but he is right. You don't need to mem-wipe Vyemm to split them. </DIV>

<p> I know you dont need memwipe to split the mob, but it sure makes it easier. </p><p> We have split it with a warlock, a troub, a dirge and a conj. If I had a memwipe though, like the notes say, we would've saved a wipe or too and had an illusionist split it. </p>
