<DIV>I can't be the only one being a bit baffled about all those items, blessings and miracled that stun, daze, stifle and mezz epic mobs. Anyway, posted this under spells and abilities:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=spells&message.id=20589" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=spells&message.id=20589</A></DIV>

Excellent post.
<DIV>I personally don't care about the blessings and tinkering items. They won't be used just like that, only when specifically called for and stuff so that's ok.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What bothers me is random procs that mess with our immunity timers. Raincaller is just one of many examples here. It randomly messes up timers, so sometimes that's no problem, but other times when a stun is really really needed I can't cast one because some stupid item decided to proc and trigger the immunity timer before that.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Solutions:</DIV> <DIV>1. Put item procced CC effects on a different immunity timer (no immunity icon needed for this in the target window, since it's uncontrollable anyways) than chanter spells and miracles and tinkering items.</DIV> <DIV>2. Get rid of random CC ability procs on items. Just get rid of all these random procs off of whatever alltogether.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Saying that we should just tell people not to use certain items works, sure, but it's only a way to avoid the real problem that <EM>is</EM> there.</DIV>

<P>I agree they should be on a different timer, although it was great listening to a monk [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] at a bezerker for breaking his god mez!</P> <P> </P>

Very well thought out post. Although the arguement may be picked apart in the process, thank you for putting it down for us.<div></div>
