I'm an avid two-boxer, and have played many different character classes. I have a pair of Necros that work pretty well (we can take on most blue heroics at level 30 - once we get a life transfer at 33 or so - (additional heal) - I can probably do whites/yellows). I'd like to pair up a level 8 Illusionist I have and see how I can make the most of it. I've played a Coercer up to 54, and noticed they share many of the same abilities, so I have a basic idea on how to play the class. The pets are totally different though, of course. So, if you are grouped with a Fury or Necro, how would you proceed? Would you even bother using a pet or would use you the concentration for buffs (and buff the Necro's pet etc) So my direct questions would be:w/ Necro:1) Use Illus pet or buff Necro Tank Pet w/ no Illus pet?2) General Strats for blue/white heroics?w/Fury1) Do you use the heals from the Fury on the pet or let it die and mez? That is - how long will the pet last compared to a tank pet? Is it like the Necro Warlock pet and will it basically get two-shotted?2) How often will the Fury Steal agro? Thats what I'd worry about. I have my main Fury nuke and AOE nuke upgraded to M1, and without taunts I fear I'll be forcing a root/mez all the time. What other good combinations are out there? The Coercer was a blast to play but I never tried playing him with the Necro together. (I had quit the game deleting chars and came back recent) I know the Coercers couldnt heal their charmed pets, I'm assuming Illus is no different.agressiv³<div></div>

<DIV>Nekroduo:</DIV> <DIV>if i wanted to duo with a nekro/conjurer i still would have my pet with me and leave the nekropet unbuffed. </DIV> <DIV>maybe i wont cast the wis/agi or the mitigation buff (whichever takes the concentration slot) to haste the nekros tankpet. that would need some trying, but it would be worth the effort i think.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the personae will never ever be compareable to any other conj/nekropet, though it helps much with own stuns/stifles/dazes. so if you can time your own stuns with the ones from your pet, you maybe will be able to kill any mob which nearly is permastunned during fight. will be very much practise to do so, but should be doable.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Furyduo:</DIV> <DIV>in higher levs i think, you will miss some dps to get the blue/white heroics done. also the aggromanagement could be difficult for the fury if he overnukes. illupet doesnt have a tauntspell like a tankpet from nekro/conj.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>but still, i would like to keep the pet alive instead of mezzing/recasting, cause you need to put off any dot from the mob, otherwise the mezz will break.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>doubleboxing an illu in general isnt very easy, at least to me it doesnt sound easy. from my point of view, the illu needs the most attention to exactly time the stuns/stifles/dazes/roots. taking care of the illu pet. so i dont know if its the best choice to doublebox an illu... maybe 2 boxed illus would rock in this case. 0)</DIV>
