After all the hoopla around letting enchanters being able to stun/daze/stifle epics.. they go and put the effects on what seems to be every [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] item in the game. On raids now, the immunity is always up on the epics from item procs. Even as marginal of an ability as it was, it might as well have never happened now.

I am still [Removed for Content] about every illusion we have being on an item, now they are giving our raid crap as a proc. I figured by the next adventure pack, there will be an item that casts a personae that is all/all

ok for some reason i missed this (always got more than one enchanter at a raid, so i always assume that any immunity not from me is from another).....which items are doing this?

i think he means like HQ for rainbowcaller which every fighter and scout is going after in my just to get the proc cause when they won`t use the bow proc will be going onto the primary weapon they are using can`t remember i think it`s a 1.5stun with immunity of 15seconds or something like that which would work on epics.

so that kinda makes stuns for coecers or illussionist on epics useless, cause they immunity will always be up cause at least few people will have bow equiped and will be using the proc on raids, dunno about daze items or stifle items for moment

Yeah, it is kind of ridiculous.

After going to all the trouble to scale back control spells across the board, and also making it a feature of Enchanters that we were the only ones who could do control spells on epics - now everybody can do it.

As far as items go I only know about the Raincaller. I won't be suprised if that gets hit with the nerf bat, our Rangers are having far too much fun using it.

But a lot of the Deity abilities give control spell effects that work on epics too.

There are some deity blessings/miracles that allow for crowd control effects on epics too, I think?

For what its worth, Itried to use my epic mez from Quelious on raid tonight and got the mesage "target is too powerful". Also my coercer wasnt able to use his big nuke from CT either.

It just gets funnier and funnier.

I wonder which they will fix, the description or the behaviour?

Sounds like something Bristlebane would have been proud of.

I wonder how many people will take Quellious so they can mez non-epics once/hour?

:smileyvery-happy:

Message Edited by Belizarius on 11-28-2006 03:39 PM
