<DIV>Sorry for these basic questions.  While I have played the game since launch I'm not all that familiar with classes other than ranger and guardian.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. What are the key differences between Illusionist and Coercer?</DIV> <DIV>      - I understand that an Illusionist has a pet while a Coercer charms for a pet, but what type of differences are there in different environment.  IE. Solo, Group, and     Raid</DIV> <DIV>     - Does one sublcass get more buffs than the other?  I'm looking for a class where I'm there for buffs, debuffing the mob, and maybe even some slight dps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2.  Does upgrading our root spell have any effect on stopping it from breaking prematurely?</DIV> <DIV>     - IE.  I root something and then start dotting, or nuking.  Is there a difference in % chance to break if i'm using app1, or master 1?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for any replies.</DIV>

<DIV>to answer first question.  We both are utility class however coercers are a bit more utility cause of passive hate buff and true mem wip we dont get.  They do more damage than us and there specialty is stun while ours is mez we get 3 mez they get 2.  They are much more riskier soloers than us but can solo much faster do to pet damage..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Upgrading root spell decreases the chance of break in fact the only 2 spells that you really need to upgrade before lvl 30 are your root and pet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Fizbang</DIV>
