??? over the (35) Mana Cloak (Bloodlines)

I have not bought any legendary + gear or any masters yet but have all my adepts up to currant level. I have been saving my hard earned pp to buy something that will be of more benifit in terms of length of service. </DIV> <DIV>Meaning saving for higher levels, but I can buy mana cloak at near adept 3 near 1 pp or buy app 4 for about 10 gp. I ask is mana cloak at higher price really worth the extra $ or should I wait till I get of a level were I will be making more money and then upgrade it at higher levels. I know this spell never gets upgraded if it was I would buy cheaper.</DIV> <DIV>I curantly play on nagafen server (pvp) if that makes any diff. I ask this becuse I know there are many educated folks out there and know the real value of this spell in long terms of use. I pre-thank all of you who take time to help this newb in advance.</DIV>

<DIV>90-120 at App4, 120-200 at Adept 3.  It's worth the upgrade, and you will continue to use it even till level 70.</DIV>

It is a useful spell (nice graphics too) - to get it cheaper buy/harvest the rare, and advertise for a sage.  We tend to chage a lot more on the broker than in person.<div></div>

I don't think a Mana Cloak thread is allowed to go by without making mention of one thing: When you have more than one or two people on screen when you cast it, IT'S [Removed for Content]' LOUD.<BR><BR> But yes, awesome spell, a definite Adept III. I still use it regularly at 70.

Today, at lvl 70, I hardly ever need it. In raids, the coercer in MT group still use it a lot, but since it requires someone in your group to get hit (repeatedly), it's not really any good in DPS/healer/mage groups. Get an adept 3, but rather than buying the spell for 3 plat, buy or harvest the rare and get a sage to make it for you. Much cheaper that way.</P>

<P>I have mine at Adept III, definitely worth upgrading in the longer term, but probably not an overriding priority.  At your level even App IV is quite useful.</P> <P>In a group, it's mostly only of benefit to your tank, since noone else should be getting whacked much.</P> <P>The long reuse means I tend to save it for when it's needed, ie sticky situations, such as multiple adds when your group isn't going to get a break, also handy for ring events (multiple waves of mobs).</P>

Used to be better, because Manastone could proc it(of course it would eat wards, reactives, etc).  But oh well <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Though what's even better, is get yourself low on power, get lucky get that rare Mage solo HO.  Toss the Vessel on then, now that is just an insane amount of power you'll regen <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
