Well I bring alot to the raid that the bard doesn't because you have to add in savante and manacloak and devit stare and mana flow, and how your guild sets ou up in the raid, you can give alot more regen then a bard... thing is.. it is just not needed.I hate bards. i want them destroyed. They are the most powerfull class imho.. how the heck do you give them combat rez, better regen then us, better dps then us, and tehy get to wear chain and have more HPS. they really are unfair. I barely will even speak to dirge's hahahha.My level 40 tank alt is awesome fun though.<div></div>

its been a long time since i've played my illusionist he's been 68 for going on two months...in all honesty though, im not a caster at heart, i love magic though especially control and buffing, so thats what drove me to make and play one.but i would still be playing one today if they were not so limited.mana drain is pointless and a waste of effort on anything apart from a solo mob (preferably with down arrows)when we first got our crap little pet thing... i was just insulted, i deleted a conjurer to start my chanter way back when, i certainly didn't welcome our pet, and still dont, although reluctantly i use it when situation dictates its benefits over buffs.our utility is such a niche aspect that the amont of spells illu have for mezing seems silly at times, considering we lack in other areasthe class also seems to lack vision, where are our illusions? (and not our persona crap, i mean an illusion of something useful, not of another illusionist in a stupid hat!)but again most of you know our issues, but we do have many good things, especially for regular grouping, and PUG hero's as thats often when mez and CC is most usefulbut grouped with experianced players who are well equiped we're little more than a mana batery and weak DPS.I have made a dirge and got him to 42... running around at 47% run speed is pretty fun, can't solo too well even in ebon armour with master 1 buffs, but i am enjoying it.in all honety i think few people find a class that really suits them, even once at level 70, 50 aa's and well on their way to all fabled gear, its ahrd to face starting again, and if i didn't have so much time on my hands, i certainly wouldn't have, for me the issues i had with the illu class were just enough to push me enough to change my SK alt into my main, and i dont regret it... im too impatient to be a great illu, my wife tells me that every time i talk about the "old days", did a good job at playing the class, but i didn't have the patience to solo well or to stick with it.i've seen a lot of illusionists quit the game because of issues they have with the game that to me having changed class, it seems the issues are more with the class or with their desired style of play not matching the class.good luck to all of you that are staying with the class, and i hope we get some much needed love<div></div>
