<DIV>Two questions:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. I've heard you can respec your master II choices...how do I go about doing this?....can you only do it once?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2. What did you high level illusionists take for master II choices? Any regrets? Would any of your choices be different on a pvp server? </DIV>

<DIV>They handed out respecs when they did that major combat revamp.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also believe it is one of your veterans reward choices (if I remember correctly)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As far as the master 2 choice I picked synergism (such a great spell) because I got a hold of epiphany master before which was only a 1 point difference. So it really depends on what masters you have. If you don't plan on buying or earning any masters in the near future then you probably should go master 2 epiphany. But thats just my opinion. Unfortunatley in my eyes our real purpose is power regen.</DIV>

<DIV>How much of a difference does having a master of construct of order/logic/etc. make vs. an adept version? Is it a major dps boost?</DIV>
<DIV>It's about as much as any damage spell in terms of raw %. Never really looked at the exact numbers, but the M2 of Construct of Reason does ~120dps sustained while it's up, which is quite a lot considering the small amount of power it costs to cast. I think the Adp3 was around 90dps, but don't really remember.</DIV>

Its hard to tell unless you do extensive testing on a single mob that is always the same level. And also a mage type of the same level may cast a buff that has extra resists.... Theres so many factors in this game you have to take into account that its hard to tell unless you do some extreme testing. You are welcome to find out for yourself. :smileyhappy:

<font size="2">I just respec'ed the other night by using /respec. You may want to try that, to see if your toon is flagged for it. If not, Barobrain is correct - one of the Veteran Rewards available (though I can't recall which one) is called "A Reforming Stone". Use that, and it will let you respec. As for the choices I took, I originally had Synergism at Master II, but changed it over to Epiphany. I had found a Master I of Synergism on the broker, and I figured that with the upcoming changes to spell procs, it would be better to have the power regen over the procs.. since Synergism is going to be less likely to proc anyway. I also had been having a hard time keeping my groups' mana full while still using my previous Master I of Insight. Zobek 68 Illusionist Guk </font><div></div>

<P>I tried /respec already and no-go. Thanks for the name of the stone--will keep a lookout for it. Do respec stones like that ever drop in game, or do you get more ever from your veteran rewards, or is it purely a 1-time only deal?</P> <P>P.S. I'll be happy to test extensively if someone would like to mail me an adept III and master I version of all the spells I want to test. ^ ^</P> <P>Seriously tho, what is the test server in this game like? Can you copy characters there and do they hand out various levels of free spell/art upgrades for the sake of testing? </P> <P>It's hard work playing one MMO for the last 4 years, suddenly switching over, and trying to catch up!!!</P><p>Message Edited by Melmoth1820 on <span class=date_text>05-02-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:19 AM</span>

It's a 1 shot, no trade item.</DIV> <DIV>There has never been (and there probably never be) a lootable/tradeable/sellable/craftable item that will allow you to respec.</DIV> <DIV>There may be vet rewards in the future (don;t hold your breath) that will allow additional respecs but currently there is only one.</DIV>
