We have good abilities at the middle of our STA and INT lines. Probably the best abilities we get out of all of them. Try dropping your points halfway into each of them, and Mastering the middle abilities and the stats.

30% Spell Haste is incredibly addictive. It also makes using Volatile Magic a LOT easier since you will burn through your power faster.

Once you get perpuality, you will NEVER go back. It is crack. If I have a secondary equipped for whatever reason, and start casting. I think to myself and go, why oh why am I casting so god [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] slow! Then I de-equip the secondary, and go I love fast casting.

Granted I'm only a 46 illusionist, and still a newbie by most standards, but once I got "Convincing Regalia," the fast cast 15 second mez, I was hooked on faster casting. Seems to me that being able to cast faster means being able to lock down more mobs at once for longer durations, and since I never run out of mana (yet... i'm expecting it though, i'm not a TOTAL newb) that means more rest time for my regen.

Message Edited by 110euph on 04-15-2006 07:20 AM
