<div></div><div><div><div>1.  If someone has stun and/or stifle immunity, can I still cast stifle and/or stun on them just for the powerdrain effect or is it all-or-nothing? </div><div> </div><div>(I ask this because I fought an orange-con defiler last night who I simply could not kill through his heals, nor could I drop him before stun/stifle wore off.  I started trying to run him oop, using my encounter drain, but I needed a lot more than that....however, between my pet root-stifling and stunning, and me mezzing him just so I could take a breather and convert some of my health to power to continue the fight, he was immune to stifle/stun for a lot of it.  NO, I didn't win. >< >< >< )</div><div> </div><div>2.  Are there any potions or items that will give power back besides the regen potions ([whatever] of insight, etc.) , especially something that would refill my entire, or at least a large portion of, my power bar at once, instead of giving me a small bit followed by additional ticks?</div><div> </div><div>Not illusionist-specific, but I might as well ask it:</div><div> </div><div>3.  I heard there are item charges that give run speed that doesn't break in combat.  If this is true: What are those?  How do they interact with typical speed buffs given to you by group members?</div><div> </div></div></div><p>Message Edited by Melmoth1820 on <span class="date_text">04-05-2006</span><span class="time_text">09:28 AM</span></p>

<div></div><p>You may have better luck in the PvP forums for some of your questions.  The majority of the posters in this forum don't PvP.</p><p>With regard to your quick mana items, I'm not aware of any that probably do what you are looking for.  The manastone is an "all at once" effect I believe, but it costs health and doesn't give much power.  Everything else I can think of gives power over time (totem and such).  Things that give lots of power all at once probably would give balance issues.</p><p>I don't PvP.  Thinking creatively, a mini-ding would give you full health and power.  In a pinch you might be able to examine some items and study them to complete quests that may mini-ding you.  So if you carry around the last item you need for a language quest completion or a legend and lore series and get in trouble, you could study it and ideally mini-ding.  In theory anyway.  This would be situational at best, IMO.</p><p>Zebsen</p><p> </p>

<div></div><div>1.  If someone has stun and/or stifle immunity, can I still cast stifle and/or stun on them just for the powerdrain effect or is it all-or-nothing?</div><div> </div><div>Yes, players can resist components of spells IF they are already immune to that component. However, they get hit with all components of the spell that they are not immune to. For instance, I always cast my long stifle on an enemy player before casting root; the enemy resists the stifle part of my root (Gives an "immune" message) but the root portion sticks. Same goes for our stun/power drain.</div><div> </div><div>No clue about the others. ;p</div>
