Can't Find Personae Shift Master, At Any Price

<div>Since my Illusionist was level 40, I saved up 2p and started looking for an upgrade for Personae Shift that was at least Adept III.  I'm almost level 51 now and have never seen one for sale at the broker, or anywhere.  All this with checking the broker at least 3 times in every 24 hour period.  I'm assuming they do show up at the broker but they're in such high demand that someone gobbles them up a few seconds after they show up.</div><div> </div><div>I'm already giving up on this idea as I find it easier to find groups.  I've changed to a guild with high level sages and I'm working with one to get Adept III upgrades from now on.  Maybe this is why Master spells drop so rarely and why they're so expensive only those with higher level alts can afford them.</div><div> </div><div>Is anyone else having this particular problem? <div></div><p>its all random and a lot about luck.</p><p>there are some illusionist master that i have never seen drop or on the broker.</p><p>there are some illusionist master that i have been looking for but could not find on the broker for half a year and then suddenly 3 show up at the same time. after these have been sold i have never seen one for sale again.</p><p>for our guild we got about 3 times as many coercer spell drops than we got illusionist master. i am sure there are guilds where it is just the other way round.</p><p>so yea, you are right. its not possible for everyone to be fully mastered. not even if ppl had endless money to afford them. i too would like to hear the tricks of ppl who manage to be almost fully mastered within a few weeks after an expansion wents live.</p>

<div></div><div>Everytime I log in I check both brokers for all masters level 57-70. If I see one I want (which happens often). I give that person a tell if their on and chew em down. Unfortunatley the level 57-70 at the moment are quite expensive. I was able to get one for 8p. But really the only way to get masters is to have the bank roll to back it up. If you have that then you can find yourself just about any masters you want.</div>

<div>Its more of a polite chew em down. Try to explain to them "Why should I pay 15p for a 100 dmg or ....10% resistability upgrade?" and most of the time they will go lower. I have got most of mine just by bartering. I have found that most people will go alot lower then what they are asking.</div><div> </div><div>Another good way to start with a tell "So, think I might be able to grab X master off you for a more resonable price?". And my friends never get Illusionist Master spell. But there is one that has been sitting on the Qeynos broker on crushbone at 15p for over 3 months now. I thought he wouldve started lowering it a while ago....

Pricing on master's is ridiculous.  In general, on Mistmoore, a level 57-70 master goes for 5p-30p, depending on it's usefulness and rarity.  I've seen folks trying to sell Phase Master I for 15p, and I got lucky and picked up Shimmering Beam Master I for 5p.Also, you'll typically only see the 'tier 2' masters (the less desirable spells) on the broker.  The useful tier 1 masters (Prismatic, Shower, Beam, etc.) go to guildmates or are snapped up quickly.I've managed to buy 3-5 'tier 2' masters.  The Shimmering Beam was pure luck, and I grabbed it as quickly as I could.Sadari70 IllusionistMistmoore
