Ugh! Pet or Group buffs? Mostly keep my pet out because I like knowing someone is always going to have my back when I get attacked Why does pet take so much concentration?! I would like the concentration moved from 3 to 2. It would make a big difference for me. The Construct of Order does not take any concentration which I am happy for! But I would like to have my pet fighting and have all the buffs I can cast on. I always put the attack speed on a scout or tank, but I need more room!! Also, I dunno if this happens to anyone else but when I cast my Group Human Illusion and then take it off my pet sometimes turns into a human MALE lol! And also when I zone my pet turns different colors a lot. Oh well!

its a pay off, and you have to way up whats more effective.

personally i like it, a lot of classes can't even use all their concentration slots.. they have ZERO options... probably means they are less likely to take the wrong option, but still, i love choice

In PvP this is even worse since your pet is even more important. As a mage you are ALWAYS a scout classes first target in a group and the pet helps to control this pesk a bit with stuns, roots, and the like. I hate being in a group PvP situation with no pet but can't really justify not buffing the group and keeping the pet up.

I now usually keep the pet up until the group is at it's grinding locatoin then drop it and buff the group. What does everyone else do on the PvP servers?

I agree. I enjoy making decisions about when and where to use my concentration points. The thread http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=26&message.id=11998 discusses how to best use concentration points at high levels. In general:- While soloing, use your pet, dynamism on yourself, and your WIS/INT buff on yourself- While grouping, you'll usually go for the group buffs (WIS/INT buff and resist buff) in addition to casting Dynamism on yourself, haste on the tanks, and dynamism (if any points left) on any casters if you're doing mostly AoE.This simplifies things, and there are exceptions to the general guidelines posted above.Sadari66 IllusionistMistmoore

The extra 70 int. actually translates closer to 5% more damage and 350 power.
