<div></div>I always give dps classes a run for there money. Especially on AE encounters. Even single encounters I can get up there with the best of them. I don't get why people say we dont do DPS. Personally I would rather people whine about utility so they change that instead of DPS.

/agreeI would much rather have a lot more control of power management.  As you can see, im in the MT grp of the raid, simply for that ability.  i stack my mana cloak // savante //  and obviously my breeze line, but thats all i have, i wish that i had more.  im hoping the AA savante will be a good addition for my power management.<div></div>

Heh, yeah, on groups of dozens of failed raiders...sure.  Against single targets I'm happy when I get 400 -- this is while conj pets are doing almost twice that.<div></div>

I was highly amused to break 1K DPS on trash grouped mobs in PP:R the last time I was in, but I really don't think you can count that as real DPS.

<div></div><blockquote><hr>Peglegcrook wrote:just take a look for yourself, i about crapped my pants when i saw the parse!{image removed}WOW<div></div><hr></blockquote><p>First who said we can't do DPS?  I've always done really good DPS in AE fights and decent DPS in single target fights.</p><p>Second if you think the DPS you've done on this fight is great, boy you've not been paying attention.  I've personallly parsed at 19,176dps on that fight before the Havoc fix and more recently 2,800dps.  On solo epics fights I've regularly gotten more DPS then you got on this huge AE fight.  I saw a two of my guilds Warlocks parse out at 7,000+dps for that fight just a few nights ago.</p><p>In T6 I was/am not to concerned about out ability to DPS.  I would perhaps 1 fight out of 6 beat my guilds sorc casters and nearly all fights I was with 80% of there damage.  For T7 it's not shapeing out the same way.  Now adays I only beat wizards on AE fights and seldom beat them even on those.  I only beat Warlocks on single target fights and very seldom on those.  It's quite typical of me to be at 60% of the guild Sorc these days instead of 80% back in T6.  It seems to me that Sony is guiltly of a very simple math issue here.</p><p>Think about this for a second.</p><ul><li>If person A does 1000 damage and person B does 800 damage in T6.  The gap between the two is 200.</li><li>If person A does 2000 damage and person B does 1200 damage in T7.  The gap between the two is 800.</li><li>That's 4 times the gap as before and changes person B from 80% of the Person A damage to 60%.</li></ul><p>This seems to be the pattern of how they increased damage in T7 as it relates to Sorc vs Enchanters.  I'll need more time to get a feel for this, see if it really holds true over a long period of time but this makes me nervous ATM.</p>

<div>With capped INT, on a solo target I can hit around 600DPS, by myself.  If I add in a troub, I can easily hit 800.  Against multiple targets that dps usually goes up to around 1k.  So if you can't dps, you either don't have the spells upgraded, or you aren't very good.</div>
