Level 61 pet uses color shower

Just noticed this last night. Doesn't last very long, maybe only 2 ticks, I'll have to check my log if I remember.

The last thing I want in a tough fight is to group-mez a tough multi-mob group and then have the pet cast Color Shower.<i>- The Illusionist pet spell list now also includes Stunning Array, Lock Mind, and a direct damage/mez spell. <div></div><p>I can confirm that my personae mirror casts color shower, and I can also confirm that this will break (AOE) mezz.</p><p>I don't parse, and I didn't look closely at my battle spam, but I don't think it was called "color shower".  Perhaps it was and I missed it.  The graphics and AoE effect are definitely there though. </p><p>Zebsen</p><p> </p>

They have Color Shower, yes. But it's not a DoT, it's just a nuke with a short stifle. It is, however an AoE.

It does some okay damage too, for an AoE from our pet, anyway. I continue to love our pet, this addition only makes me more happy. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Seems like the stile lasts for around 5 seconds or so.  I, too, was pleasantly surprised by the damage.<div></div>

<div></div><p>I just hit 61 and scribed my adept III pet spell.  One of the first things I noticed is that he does not melee at all, making our prismatic line useless when solo'ing with him (you won't catch me ever melee'ing).</p><p>Is it suppose to be this way?  I swear in the past my pet has melee'd and I've been able to cast prismatic on him for the extra damage.</p>

<div>He's never really gone in there to melee, not even in DoF.  But sometimes he'll swing a bit and prismatic will proc a couple times.  More often then not though he'll just run up there to cast more spells.  Maybe he's got real short range on some of his stuff.</div>
