<div>I currently play a conj. It's a good class, and I simply adore pets, do illusionists pet suck or are they okay?</div><div> </div><div>I thought it would be neat to jump into a group of critters, or go dungeoning and working groups of mobs. Is that what illusionsist do? I would be soloing or duoing with a tank / rogue class.</div><div> </div><div>Any suggestions?</div><div> </div><div>Tog.</div>
<div></div>if you want play a class mainly for the pet.... my best advice : play a real pet class. summoner that is.

<div></div><div>As an illusionist who's only lvl 28, perhaps my opinion doesn't carry too much weight. But I'll say this: the pet allows me to easily solo yellows and that's enough for me. My main was a mage in EQ1 (your conjuror), and it was my intention to have both an illusionist and a conjuror in EQ2. But after playing the Illusionist it felt enough like my old mage that I thought it would be pointless to actually play a conjuror. </div><div> </div><div>The pet does suck compared to a conjuror's pet and you can't heal it. But it does the job for me and I get stun, mezz, and other goodies which are useful in grouping and which conjurors don't get.</div><div> </div>
