Mez Breaks on AOE attacks

<div>I dont understand what I'm doing wrong here.  The spell says that it will mezz all targets in the area and will not brake unless taken direct damage.    Several people have said that other classes can still use AOE's and not brake the mez.  Yet every time they do the Mez is broken.  Is it like magic only AOE? no Melee?  I just dont quite understand how this works. </div>

Hence AoEs will break your mez if you're using the AoE Mez.
