How good is Construct of Reason....worth getting a Master I before others 57-60 spells?

<div>Good evening Illusionist community.  I've recently come into possession of a level 58 Mystic Master I spell and I would really like to trade it for an Illusionist 57+ spell (one that won't get upgraded in KoS).  While asking the trade channel what the spell is worth I got a fellow Illusionist trying to convince me to trade it for Construct of Reason.  I was thinking of going for Shimmering Beam or Spellshield as a more useful Master I spell but didn't really consider the Construct as he's a dumbfire pet that I do use but I haven't really sat down to try and parse what that dumbfire pet can do.</div><div> </div><div>So, any of you level 60 Illusionists that have this spell as Master I quality, is it worth getting it first before another Level 57+ spell?</div><div> </div><div>Thanks,</div><div> </div><div>Sakarab, Oasis</div>

<div></div><p>I have adept 3 not master.  I like it alot.  Use it all the time.  Nice to lead with to take intitial damage and a good dot in all cases.</p><p>I think it is worth the upgrade, not sure if master is a big enough upgrade, I have not seen one.</p><p> </p>

<div>I would go for construct of reason. It's a good dot and useful in all situations (solo, group, raid). Spell shield is pretty useless these days, and shimmering beam Master1 seems to be somewhat rare.</div>

<div></div>Spellshield is equally as <strike>ineffective </strike>effective as adept 1 and master 1.  Don't bother upgrading.  The win of pvp and spellsheild is the initial reflect not the damage.

Next being Brainburst, as they only drop in raid zones. But that's just me. Our construct can parse a decent amount of damage while it's up, around 100 at Adept 3. I've been thinking about buying it, though I'm still hoping it drops.

If so, you have a 100% reflect chance on Spellshield Adept 1/3 or Master 1 for level 58 abilities. Level 60 it drops to 89%, and Level 70 it drops to 66%.
