Regarding the proc change that we discussed <a target="_blank" href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=26&message.id=11156">here extensively</a>, can anyone on Test or Beta comment on how this will affect our AoE DPS? From looking at the change as written, one would think it was meant solely to fix the procing on single, multi-hit combat arts. However, according to <a target="_blank" href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=testdev&message.id=8895#M8895">this post</a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=23&message.id=21150">this thread</a>, the Sorcerer de-aggro spell Concussive now only procs against one target in an AoE spell. Does this extend to Dynamism and the Troub group proc buff as well? I usually get at least two procs from each of these on an AoE, which adds up quickly. Forgive me if this is a re-post, but I didn't think we had discussed this aspect of LU20b, only the Personae change and the multi-hit combat art procs.

Basically this means dynamism, dissonant note, ice lash, and precise note will still proc on aoes and hit all the mobs if it goes off, at least that's what I've noticed.Remember, that Dynamism has no limit on uses, it will proc always on spell casts, but not DoT tics, which is still the same way it will work. Our DPS is honestly, going up in the expansion. Being able to reach 100% spell haste(cuts cast timers in half) will increase our dps a lot. In fact, I more often have issues with power more so than ever because of how fast I can cast. My DPS without a Troub ranges from 600-800 on a single target epic fight. When fighting 2 epics I can reach 900. Toss in a troubador, and I'm sure my DPS will go up, a lot.

<div></div><div>Hmmm... I think we might be losing damage here. Which is the way it currently works. When you cast Color Shower on a group of 12, you don't have 33% chance to proc dynamism on all 12 at once, but 33% chance to proc dynamism on each target seperately. And that is the way it's still going to be.As for what we have that procs Dynamism, it is anything that is a spell. That being, applying any of our spells to a mob procs it. The Chromatic Storm line will have a 2nd chance to proc on the 2nd interrupt as that is us "casting" a spell again. Same with the Migraine line. The Prismatic Discord line counts as us casting 3 spells, plus the intial cast is considered a beneficial spell. And that is the way it still works in beta from my experience. There is no nerf on spell procs, nothing is changing. The only thing that is changing is melee procs!

<div></div><div>Thanks for clarifying. I thought that dynamism proced on all/none of the initial hit from an AoE. I'll have to play with it some more later. I agree that if it determined each one individually that nothing should change. I must be remembering incorrectly. Something to test tonight while waiting for KoS.</div><div> </div><div>Zebsen</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>

Dynamism has infinite procs. It still proc'd multiple times off our aoes just like it does on live.
