<div></div>It's done. I canceled my account with no thought of coming back.I know some of you might still find fun in this game. I don't anymore and i'm even questioning the fun i had so far.After more than a year of EQ2 i can't say i'm satisfied. Of course i had good and bad moments, everyone of us has them, but i can't tell for now which side win over the other.After patiently waiting to be fixed by LU13 things became better but i still think our class (sub-class atm) isn't wanted for what i always considered to be our main role (i.e. CC). I won't redo here all the discussion we had about this topics. There's no point anymore.I really wish you the best even if i fear the worst.To the Devs, just this : i really don't thank you for the result of your work on this class. It was done the wrong way for the wrong reasons. Please stop whining, its hurting my head!Really (I think that deserves an O RLY?)  you played a full year and you're "questioning the fun" you've had so far?  Whose fault is that? I'm so sick of people complaining about their classes.  Our DPS isnt as good as a ______. So-and-sos solo better than us.  For crying out loud (and there's a lot of that), if you're not having fun, do something else!I'll tell you one thing I'll be doing less of, reading these forsaken forums; they're full of whiners.  I have tons of fun playing my Illusionist, my Mystic, my Guardian. Maybe you should get a new hobby; try knitting.<div></div>

And even before then playing an illusionist was a unique experience.</p><p>If the class is so bad, why has there been an explosion of Illusionists (not as much as summoners/conjurers mind you), at least on my server (Najena).</p><p>Its a shame you feel this way. Most others dont. We sit in the tier we were designed for when it comes to DPS. Im consistently over 300DPS in a raid and thats not pushing it as Im also casting power management spells and debuffs etc....</p>

<div>i wont renew too, as i dont enjoy the game. Compared to other MMORPGs i played (and i played many) eq2 is one of the games i had least fun. And thats mainly due to the non existing classblance and classtasks like they had e.g. in eq1that had much more depth. And you knew what each class was there for. Ilusionist in theorey are there for powerregen..well, powerregen is almost null and void, bards have a bigger one, items with FT.. and compared to eq1,where enchanter did serious debuffs, needed mez, stun (for REAL AE encounters, not "AE" encounters in eq2..that are a big design mistake), manaregen and charm on raids (except on boss mobs that were immune to SOME of those spells). the eq2 chanter in comparision gets mana regen...yeah yeah.. this is not eq1, but this is also not really enjoyable either..(that im not alone shows the example of my eq1 raidteam that started to play eq2 together. Out of ~25 people (partly) dedicated and experienced players, im the last one..and i havent logged in for 3 weeks. <div></div>liken, you're an idiot, I have a 48 Illusionist, and I DO like it, and I dont lie. I'll admit its pretty neat being the only enchanter in my guild but that wouldn't be enough satisfaction to keep me leveling. I actually enjoy my class a lot, I've tried some other classes and have only reached level 20 and got bored.

<div></div><p>Hey Illusionists rock since LU13. My main core "alt group" with my guildies is a Pally (me), monk, swashy and Illusionist. Thats it. The Pally is the main healer and main tank for the group. The illusionist plays the KEY roll of CC which allows me to keep myself and my groupmates allive though even con heroics and even multiple encounters. Swashy just rocks in keeping me on the top of the hate list and providing addistional stuns and CC and dps. Its a fun as hell group and we take down things full groups with healers struggle with.</p><p>You guys rock. Find yourselves in challenging situations and you'll enjoy yourselves. I haven't played in a core of "6" in many many months, and I can definately say the stereotypical "step-child" classes are a blast in most of these unusual group makeups.</p><p>Adventure on!</p>
