<DIV>I was really disappointed that the pet changes turned the adept 3 construct from a fairy to the cube, which was the apprentice version. What does the master version look like? Is that the fairy now or have we lost it altogether?</DIV>

<DIV>I have the Masters for the constructs (not the lvl 60 one though) and now it looks like the old app version. I miss the fairy, I miss the shattery thing. I like having my name on it though. </DIV>

LOL, you already had it.  You didn't notice all our spells involve rainbows?  Raining rainbow sparklies, big rainbow stars, whilrling lines of rainbows, not to mention our "rainbows and whirligigs" cast ring.  And our nuke fires a gooey white gob at the mob's face...ok I'll stop before the innundo gets out of hand!  Just be happy Illusory Allies doesn't summon naked copies of your group members...<div></div>

All the pets of a single spell should have the same model, according to the new system. For example, all Constructs of Order look like a glowing, flying cube.  All Constructs of Logic look like glowing, flying dodecahedrons.  (wow, I just said dodecahedron in a post!).  I don't have Construct of Reason yet...but if they follow the progression it could just be a sphere. <span>:smileywink:</span>The differences by spell quality are supposed to be subtle -- tints or particle effects, mostly.  In our case I would assume it's the particles.  However, I haven't found anything to compare my Ad3s too.  Maybe later I'll toss some screenies + settings and we can get a comparison.<div></div>

Boooooooo. I was hoping for a difference in the different spells as well. But I guess it makes sense that there all the same just a difference in the grade of the spell.

<DIV>I wasnt quite sure what you guys were going on about until I logged in last night and cast my Construct.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ive got the stupid Square Orby thing again. /Echo Post title - Give us back the fairy.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Apart from its appearance however, the other changes rock! It now out lasts a mob and "exists" for its full duration. </DIV> <DIV>IE The Construct is supposed to last 60 seconds, the mob goes down in 40. The construct will sit by yourside until you attack something else or the timer runs out! Class. It also gets its own colour for damage stats too, so you can see what damage it is giving out. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Im happy with this. SoE Art is rubbish in places, so aesthetics dont bother me much cos I know other things need fixing first.</DIV> <DIV>(*cough* VLA Robes *cough*)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>There was absolutely no effort or thought put into Illusionist persaone or temp pets (constructs)  with this LU 18.    I have 15 Master 1's and nothing changed for us accept the Construct turned to an ugly bright glowing rubix cube.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P> <P>I was hoping that they were gunna add some new looks to the chanter's spell lines/pet lines.  Still waiting <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

The personae is pretty much the most diverse looking pet in the game!  Some days I dress him up in the Marr ceremonial armor, a carbonite rod, and a Lucan mask!  Rar, Mini-Lucan!  Sometimes I put a Fancy Imported Dress and an Antonia mask on him, and use emotes to slap him around a lot!  Lately I've put the Frostfell hat and a red robe on him, to stay in the spirit of things.FAR superior to a boring zombie, or a moldy pile of rocks. And I kinda like the construct as a being of pure geometry.  Makes sense to me...moreso than say, a FAIRY!<div></div>

<P>i cannot see any difference between the look of the constsruct of logic and the construct of reason.</P> <P>anyone has found out yet what the difference should be?</P>

Keeping them all one model more or less (with subtle differences based on mastery), ok but......I mean, the best thing they could come up with for this mysteriously magical creature is a WHITE CUBE, or some other boring geo figure? Did the polygon budget run out or something?I liked my snappy swirly master construct thing. Now it's just a blah cube. Bah. <div></div>

I would be satisfied if it talked mathspeak.  Every attack should be accompanied by the thing crying out the value of <i>pi</i> to the 20th digit, or some obscure logic reference like "Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc!".  Maybe all its damage numbers can be expressed in squareroots or factors of <i>e</i>?Either that or the Frenchman's taunts from Monty Python.<div></div>

I like having the cube. It's my own personal borg cube <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>
