<DIV> always when i use pet, i die., i preffer cast haste on me and dyna., start with shor duration/fast casting stun followed by abduct mind and root and start killing summoner spellshield had one of the most important uses i had to prevent if summoner is aware of that., that's tricky and fun., :smileyvery-happy: prismatic havok help a lot too :smileywink:</DIV>
<P>Use the pet but dont rely on Mez. Summoners can break it if they know how.</P> <P>First Turn off Pet defend buttons.</P> <P>Start with aoe stun or mez. Then Root pet. Pet is only thing that is importatant at first because your shield is still up.</P> <P>After pet is rooted, send personae on conj, then stifle, then fairy, then I charge him since my mele is maxed and cast dots etc at point blank range. </P> <P>Some will freak out when you do this since alot are not maxed on mele and all three hitting them is pretty good dps. If he runs then you are basically fear kiting him. If he runs to pet back off and stun the pet. I stun and stifle as much as posible and stick to him like glue. Keep pet rooted and it isnt too bad. I dont use our aoe with the pet up since the chance to break and a scout pet will make a lite snack out of me.</P> <P>I lost alot before I started rooting pet instead of mezzing. </P>

<DIV>Conjuror can break our mezz in 2 ways:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1 - Cast a low-lvl aoe dot on us so it reflects back on him and his pet and keeps them from being mezzed</DIV> <DIV>2 - Convert Pet HP -> Player MP</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Number 1 can be avoided by keeping him stifled/stunned.</DIV> <DIV>Number 2 can be avoided by keeping him stifled/stunned as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Another thing they like to use is their PBAOE. Since it dont need a target to start casting, they usually start casting it while the timer for the duel is ticking down. If you see them doing this, just run out of their range and quickly get him and his pet under control.</DIV>
<DIV>Can always cancel low-level dots that are reflected. Though, I don't really care about that, I just gun with the aoe mez, single mez his pet, then burn him down with all the stuns/stifles i can get.</DIV>
<P>For the low level dot trick to matter, it has to be an AE dot, and the only AE dot they have has a stifle on it, so they won't do that against you.</P> <P>I've never lost to a conjurer unless I had resist problems. Spellshield, mez the pet on the run, group mez, target conjurer, stifle and kill. </P> <P>You can also open with group stun, group mez, single mez the pet, then stifle conjurer. This way you might get hit hard by the pet a couple times if you aren't fast enough, or get a resist, but also has a near perfect result.</P>

<DIV>I always start with AOE stun...my pet goes after player (to interupt, distract, mez whatever) , I mez pet, I stifle player...game over</DIV>
