<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#ffcc00>*** Items ***<BR></FONT></STRONG><BR>- Item Health and Power regen rates now all use the same regeneration standard and cap out at the following currently:<BR> * In-combat HP regen cap is (3 x Level )<BR> * In-combat Power regen cap is (.5 x Level)<BR> * In-combat item HP regen cap is (3 x Level x 0.5)<BR> * In-combat item Power regen cap is (1.5 x Level x 0.5)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So... unless I'm misunderstanding this... your in combat power regen is capped at 30 + your regen from items. The bard regen song at master1 does 37. Why bother stacking bards with chanters, or using Devitalizing Stare, if one class can't even use their own buff to its fullest extent? And more to the point... why on earth is SOE messing with regen... its not like its overpowered. They have other things they should be tinkering with.</DIV>

<DIV>I am hoping that the second line is a typo, and should be 1.5 x level</DIV>

Right. As I look it at, it can't possibly make sense. My base regen is like 22 at level 52. I'm only 4 below the overall cap?Does it say spell cap? No. So I don't think that's what it means. Does it say "cap, not including base regen". Nope.I really think there's been some mistake here and it'll all get straightened out by Monday at the latest. Heck, all we need is for someone to log onto test and group with a bard.<div></div>

Wish some dev would confirm this though <span>:smileymad:</span></span><div></div>

Isn't line 3 equal to (1.5 x Level)? Isn't line 4 equal to (0.75 x Level)? Anyway, I'm also hoping they mean base regen, not spell regen.</span><div></div>

I think (and someone else has pointed out the same thing in the cross-post of this in the coercer forum) that it's just a typo. Line 2 should be 1.5Xlevel, then it would follow the pattern of HP regen. Of course, who knows for sure, but that seems to be the most logical thing, otherwise those numbers don't really make any sense.PigLick<div></div>

<DIV>I would like to know how potions fit into this cap. And our Essence siphon and devitalizing stare. How do those fit into the </DIV> <DIV>mana regen cap. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Essence siphon 54</DIV> <DIV>Devitilizing stare 22</DIV> <DIV>Insight 31</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think the overall cap is low for mana regen. </DIV>

Yah, we've been questioning exactly how those fit into things since LU13. We've never gotten a definitive answer from the devs, and I don't recall that anyone's done all the extensive testing necessary to figure it out ourselves.PigLick<div></div>
