What did they do with the rest of the buff on this spell? I can't log on to see it atm.

Indeed, always look at the bright side of death..what's the focus increase on that int decrease?

In addition, it increases focus, ordination, etc...

While not a huge change, I've never noticed any benefit to added focus, subjugation, etc (nothing worth raving about) ...from any of my weapons or armor/jewelry pieces that have it as an added bonus.

My issue is with the information that was left out of the patch notes moreso than the decrease in INT. Perhaps this isn't all that worth being irritated over, but I'm beyond frustrated with this class and the changes that have been made to us in recent months.

With complete honesty I can tell you that I so rarely use that spell that I have no idea what it's intended purpose would be... Maybe you can shed some light, but the fact that it only lasts 30 seconds to begin with really does me no good.

reading the test notes actually most of us had expected to get the focus INSTEAD of the int. that the buff is giving still int, even if a bit lower than before, while also buffing focus at the same time, is more than what many dared to hope for.

It used to be way over powered at adept3, a whopping 130 int for 30 seconds, one of the bard conc buffs sits on about 150 int... I use it all the time, and will use it more now with the + on it, less fizzles for the healers in raids etc, and Defilers love the int boost /wink

Message Edited by Strewth on 12-01-2005 02:53 AM

I agree, at Adept III it adds around 150 Int to the group, it DOES help prevent fizzles. My int stat is right around 427 at lvl 59, and jumps up to 577 when I pop this buff off. The fact that it only lasts for 30ish seconds isn't that big of a deal really. How many encounters do you go through during play that really last much longer than that with a solid group?

I'm not sure if it was just me... or did it seem to have a faster recast timer on it? While down in Silent City fighting the (lvl 59-60) Epic x2 mobs with my group, I was able to rip this cast off several times a fight. Anyone else notice this?

Kailen - 59 Illusionist Faydark

Thanks for the input Azamien... could have been the excitement from all the Master chest drops that had me all wound up. Was a very busy day for me in DoF zones yesterday!

Kailen - 59 Illusionist Faydark
