<DIV> <DIV>Neesia, I've not found one either. You've probably done the following yourself, but perhaps others haven't, so I'll post it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Send a carefully worded tell to a higher level illusionist in-game. I find folk who spend all their time in-game are the ones who most enjoy the class, and if approached right, are often very happy to give advice.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I tend to word it something like this:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I say: "Greetings, worthy Illusionist. May a younger one of your order ask some advice?"</DIV> <DIV>Reply: "Sure"</DIV> <DIV>I say <example>: "I've just turned 44, and I'm wondering about my choices for a Master 2 spell..."</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>((Works a lot better than: "Hey dude, what's <insert question here>?" .... lol))</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You'll find some won't answer. They may be in an intense fight, or have gone afk, so don't fret about it, and if you've no reply in a couple of minutes, try someone else.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And if you are polite and give generous thanks for their time, you may end up with a friend you can call on for other help <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The other option is the in-game Illusionist channel. I've not used it often, but it has helped me once or twice.</DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Lol... I am working on getting THIS forum to convert to an illusionist-friendly one. If you post your concerns, you will get a fair amount of "why bother?" type of threads for just about ANYTHING we can cast. I will maintain the faith though and say that you should also get some 'positive' feedback on how to use your abilities (as they are) for the same scenario from a few of us.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Instead of looking somewhere else, stick around, we need people who really want to PLAY the class that will post here.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>VR,</DIV> <DIV>Kailen - 59 Illusionist Faydark</DIV>

I haven't found a better forum than this one either. The majority of posts here are pretty negative in general until very recently at least. In some cases, I'm convinced that some illusionists are just meleeing mobs, as virtually all spells have been removed from their hotbar since they aren't useful :smileywink:. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The various advice of asking higher level illusionists (or players in general) has been useful to myself. I haven't tried the illusionist forum yet. I play on the Lavastorm server though, and there are usually less than 5 illusionists level 50-60 on at any given time (myself included). I probably should log on to offer advice to anyone seeking it, but I haven't yet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Zebsen Chanter</DIV> <DIV>Level 52 illusionist</DIV> <DIV>Lavastorm</DIV>
