The idea of that was real incentive for me to get lvl'd up and as soon as I read the changes back to tradeskilling I went (and I believe me I can't stand tradeskilling). The way it was was just fine!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Our Rooting ability was working fine all considering that really the damage we do (and not saying we need be a damage class) doesn't stand up to the ability of keeping them away from killing us range. I'm not asking for 6k damage nukes but seriously, it's not like we do do the damage... Why does our root need to be the same as other mages that can destroy targets in a few simple gestures? We should get a different type of root in my opinion. For our class we need something alot more reliable as we're not as powerful as the other mages! Master I should root until end of cycle or possibility to break in last few seconds, Adept III risk of breaking after about halfway or two thirds, I don't know really as a definite, only ideas but our root needs some "fixing" not SOE stylee (as I keep reading about) but genuine fixing! By levels would be another idea... If it's equal levels it has half the chance of holding for the full time if less (green) then it should almost be guaranteed to hold for pretty much the whole duration and then the higher levels have a third chance of breaking (yellow) and orange would last a third of the time then would break.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The pet & personae, if they're seriously going to remain as a part of our class does need to be sorted out a little bit, it tanks "ok" but on the grabbing and keeping agro needs a little work. Maybe an HO that has the possibility to heal the thing as well but then I guess I would be a conjuror for that. I think healing is needed for it's low damage taking ability or more hp's (as it is a carbon copy of us) even with carrying a seperate kit around for me to equip, cast personae and then go back to my normal rags, the pet doesn't seem to be up to much.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Mana drain is a joke as another explained... our ability to do much to an epic is minimal at best (and spellshield taken away is one thing less) and other classes having a better incombat mana regen just plain and simply isn't right! An ability to nuke mana to group (wizzies nuke damage as their special ability, one of ours is mana so would make perfect sense) I heard it suggested before and tbh I think it's a great idea!!! Nukes for 1400 all group members and has a 120 second recast using maybe 500 units of your mana... Please take into account those are not definite numbers just idea numbers....
