Only profession abilities will be reflected by it, as of the patch on test (17a).I think you could reflect some raid mobs' abilities for, what? 40k? 60k? Check the highest magic hit worldwide...I just wish, while they were in there "fixing" one spell, they would fix the scads of others that are broken...stuns, stifles, AE mez, AE stun, savante...

Uhh, no. Try 100-200 damage TOTAL per reflect. The only things that needed fixing were the mobs that when had their abilities reflected did the 200-300k damage. Those being the Maj'Dul Sentinels, and the Maestra in Court of Al'Afaz.Very VERY few raid mob abilities could be reflected at gobs of insane damage, I felt those should be fixed. As for our spell making some encounters easy, true, but I guess now it's going to be a waste of power, as very few mobs use profession spells, at least those in the Court of Al'Afaz, the oens that I took a look at what they used.Only Moonchild used a profession spell of the 7 nameds I took a look it, and then it only used it about 2 or 3 times during the course of the fight, yah, that's really going to make spellshield useful at all. Welcome back to your mage DPS Group guys, because that's where we're headed again.

Cool...

We are closer to a pure mitigation scenario.

You want to raid? You can kill anything you want by Zerging Mit and stacking healers.

No need for strat.

No need for anything creative.

Just get the Mit high against the damage dealt and zerg it all.

WOOOOOHOOOOOO I love a good challenge.

EQ2: The First First Person Shooter Raid Game.

I chose EQ2 and left my old disillusioned guildees from EQ1 who went to WoW becasue I liked the challenge SOE had provided in high end content in EQ1. This is being gummed down and whittled away with every patch.

Make the game harder and more difficult please.

If you want people to be able to level from 0-60 in two weeks fine.

If you want all content to be soloable so grouping is not required, fine.

If you want all classes to be bland and void of interesting characteristics so they can have the illusion fo being balanced, fine.

If you want all Rares to pop several times per hour so any casual player can harvest a complete set of Adept 3 and Rare armor in a matter of a few hours, fine.

But at least keep one aspect of the game interesting and challenging. Make raiding more complex and challenging. Do not water it down until it becomes a total zerg fest. This is really getting silly.

Increase the difficulty and complexity of the Epic encounters by reinstating our abilities and altering the mobs to combat them differently. Give the players who do not want a watered down McDonalds version of an MMO that is fast and simple a place where they can really use thier minds and thier skill of playing thier toons to excel.

Good going SOE, you guys are the coolest...

Also, the silent nerf on our stuns and stifles, that BG called "unintended", well it's now intended.

Well, the best way to respond to their utter, mind blowing ignorance is to hit that cancel account button. They do not want any spells "useful" during raids, because this will make raids "easy". Instead, everyone has to have at LEAST 50% of their abilities not usable on epics (for enchanters it's more like 95%), so there will be a challenge. Instead of making the mobs harder, which is what any developer with any hint of intelligence would do, they just make the players weaker. Good going SoE, this is one level 60 Illusionist who stood by for far too long. Every patch everything changes, and why is it that it never, ever seems to be for the positive...always another nerf to anything remotely useful that we have left. Consider my account canceled. I won't even give you the satisfaction of using your Station Exchange service, Im not putting one more cent into your pocket, I would much rather just delete my char. Not like I will miss the game...nearly everyone I know has already quit because of SoE's cluelessness. Hopefully when your game is dying out from cancellations while others are blossoming you will realize your mistakes. Cya. Eloze 60 Illusionist of Oasis

Eloze, very well put. The game is doomed. I am not even talking about the nerfs that hit us recently, there are too many things that are [Removed for Content]. The nerfs were merely the last straw that broke the camels back for me. I can't say that my guild needs me on raids or that it is any fun to play my class, so all the excuses to keep playing are gone. I am finally enjoying RL again, so I am happy. To the rest of you - good luck.
