Illusionist Question

Using pet in group situations does really not look serious for an illusionist. <div></div>

I often have my pet up in groups, especially since int buffs don't stack anymore.  The pet does decent dps and will get any surprise aggro off you.  If you mez a mob that has attacked you in any way, your pet will break that mez so beware of that.

could either of you tell me how many concentration slots it takes by the way?

<P>it takes 3 con slots just like coercer charm and is intended to be a solo tool mostly.</P> <P>there are hardly any group set ups where the pet could provide benefit over using the con slots for other buffs. it can raise the individual parsing number of the illusionist a bit, but usually at cost of the overall group dps. so the main use would be to show off a bit higher on parser. in most groups its really not recommended to use it.</P>

thanks for response zitha. also, i'm comparting chanters vs summoners not illusionist vs coercer. I'm not gonna split hairs haha.
