<DIV>I would go in this order of getting upgrades:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Seal of Inquity(If not Master I Already)</DIV> <DIV>Dynamism(If not Master I Already)</DIV> <DIV>Abduct Mind(If not Master I Already)</DIV> <DIV>Phantasmal Brilliance(If not Master I Already)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If all are Master Is, go with Dynamism for the little extra damage.</DIV>

<DIV>Phantasmal Brilliance is your best class spell ... upgrade it as high as possible</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2nd choice is group mez.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3rd dynamism</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the int buff is garbage since int buffs dont stack anymore.</DIV>

<P>depends on play style and preference really.</P> <P>Seal of Ingenuity is good for raiding illusionist, not for the INT on it , but for the WIS (=resist). Its 10 WIS more than adept 3, that equals to an increase of 30 on all resists. not game breaking, but every bit helps.</P> <P>For mostly solo play i would go Dynamism for the extra dmg.</P> <P>For group oriented i would go with one of the mez. The last i want is that in the rare occasions where the group trusts on my CC skills my mez gets resisted.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>seal of ingenuity is enought for me., it's sad it no stack anymore and i'll like if it has some more high stats but ohh well., it's a good one anyway <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<P>If you're at the INT cap, I think it's around 415 - 420 at level 60, would you still bother with seal of ingenuity ?</P> <P>Is the WIS really worth allot to resists ?</P>

If you dont raid, and dont really plan on raiding, then dont bother with it. The wis isnt really going to help you.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you do raid, then take into consideration what groups your raid leader puts u in the most, and what classes you usually have at a raid.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Seal of Ingenuity is best used when grouped with mages and/or healers. Better resists, better damage, and better power pools. So if your group is mostly melee, then most likely a wizard should cast his buff for the added STR instead of ur WIS. Unless of course the AoEs arent dodgeable.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In any case, try and take note of what classes you usualy have in raids. These are the classes you can effectively cast dynamism on in a raid:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Rangers</DIV> <DIV>Assassins</DIV> <DIV>Swashbuclers/Brigands</DIV> <DIV>Coercers</DIV> <DIV>Illusionists</DIV> <DIV>Dirges/Troubadors</DIV> <DIV>Necromancers</DIV> <DIV>Wizards/Conjurors</DIV> <DIV>Warlocks</DIV> <DIV>Paladins/Shadowknights</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The list is in order of which classes benefit the most from dynamism....rangers give the most procs, while Crusaders give the least. So if you usually have plenty of rangers and assassins in a raid, then dynamism will provide a huge increase in raid DPS (about 70-80 DPS per ranger). If your raids usually have more Warlocks and Wizards with their really long casting times, then dynamism wont provide much of a benefit at all (about 10-20 DPS per wizard).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For the record, I went with the seal <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Edit: lotsa typos <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV><p>Message Edited by DaMutation on <span class=date_text>11-14-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:30 AM</span>

<P>I went with Dyna but respeced recently and went with the Buff.</P> <P>Why?</P> <P>I only put the buff on Poison users or Aoe Classes like Warlocks.  Slow casters like Wizards don't give enough use to it IMO.  The problem is when I cast it on a Brigand using poison he steals aggro...so I switch to a Ranger...aggro...so I switch to a Assassin...aggro...Warlocks get all kinds of aggro even without it on them so I find it to be somewhat detrimental.</P> <P>In fact now I use Haste on the Guard and put only use the Dyna on one other.</P> <P>I am almost always in MT group so I use the buff, there is no other caster in the group and the Tank benefits from the Wis with higher resists. </P> <P>Makes the most sense to me.  And it is a 54 spell, all others will be upgraded sooner, Dyna first, with the next level cap increase.</P>

Dynamism is all about who casts the most spells on a target. The more spells cast the greater chance for proc. So which class is the greatest button smasher? <div></div>

have mostly tested that (not very scientificaly, just parsing when grouped with different people) and the list i posted above was ordered from the people i got the most dyna procs out of (rangers) to the least (crusaders). any1 not on that list just wont proc it.

<DIV>From my experience, and this is mostly from a raiding perspective, dynamism has been by far the most useful of the spell choices. One important thing to remeber is that in raids you can cast this on anyone in the raid, not just in grp. The int buff does not stack with with other mage int buffs any longer. The AOE mez at adept 3 is rarely resisted as is. Dynamism is almost always up on at least myself. If I were to recommend one it would have to be Dynamism.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I have been testing Dynamism on rangers the last couple nights.  I have to say I am disappointed looking at the parse results at the end of the night.  I am not seeing more than one proc of Dynamism off 12-14 ticks of poison during a 30 sec group fight.  This doesnt make sense to me, because it is hard to imagine the odds of proc are worse on poison--either a tick of poison counts or it doesnt as a chance to proc dynamism.  I have just not seen the results in parsing.

My guess: poison is a dot, so just like any of our dots, it has a chance to proc on the initial spell, but not on any of the subsequent ticks. <div></div>

Or it was nerfed.
