Nobody cares about this class among developers. We only get envy from other players, unless they group with us. If we keep playing and comlpaining, this new dark age will not end soon enough. I suggest a strike. If you are in raiding guild - stop raiding. Let others raise hell for our class, if we are really that important. If not - good riddance. <div></div>

This is not about our raiding ability, which hasn't changed much after update. This is about our class. I will not suffer because of this nerf, low levels will. All I do is instances with ocasional mining, crafting and raiding. I don't know, maybe my idea is silly.. Just can't stand this contempt for our class. <div></div>

Lately we've had:</P> <P>-stuns not working on epics and shorter duration overall</P> <P>-stiffles not working on epics and shorter duration overall</P> <P>-2 of our 3 mezzes nerfed in duration/recast/etc</P> <P>-root nerfed</P> <P>They've really taken back a lot of what they gave us with the CU, which is frustrating. It's hard to watch your abilities decrease with only a small percent increase to our (low DPS) haste spell in return. I'm not counting the increase in power draining ability. Based on how stun/stiffle was removed from epics, I have the feeling that <U>if</U> the increased power drain allowed for several enchanters to draining epic mobs dry of power, it would be also nerfed (at least on epics) as well for trivializing content. </P> <DIV>As for someone posting about a root hotfix, don't hold your breath. Post-cu ive enjoyed my chanter more so except for being pretty much useless in raids save as a power battery. Who wanted you to nerf a whole set of spells? What have you given us in return???? Nada. We are now worse than pre-cu. Great. This just seems like a cynical way to remove a class from the game. To add insult to injury, you also nerf our crowd control abilities? The ONE thing that makes us unique? Illusionists are VERY weak casters + crowd control. You nerf the crowd control...so all we really are is a very very sub-par caster. Great. Tell me right now a good reason to be an illusionist over the other high damage and utility classes. Crowd control isn't that great...and now, it is even LESS useful. DoTs? Other casters have far better. Nukes? Other casters have far better. Group buffs? Oh boy, we can make group mana pool bigger, just stand there...how fun. Utility? weak. Everything is weak. The one thing we had over everyone else is a not so useful crowd control. On top of that, we take so [Removed for Content] long to solo....and you hurt our solo ability. While other classes can pull multiple mobs and aoe them to death for quick xp....we just hope to find a group now...and rarely get one due to "crowd control not being a big deal." You look over concerns but never respond about them unless you make some change in an update. I have been seeing posts for quite awhile complaining about lack of communication and although we now get messages from you saying things are being looked at we never get any responses about what is going on and what the DEVs are thinking. Yet everyone in 2 classes (not just the one) gets nerfed, regardless if we have adept 1's and crafted normal armor. I do recall the "norm" was supposed to be app3, so by that, i am above average, and i could never kill 2 heroic ^^^ at once, 4 levels higher, not to mention mezzing 2 other groups. I'd run out of power before the first was dead.</P> <P> </P> <P>Maybe Moorgard's post had some hidden meaning, when he was responding to the Harclaves arguements. He stated that if you wanted to grind and solo, that maybe this wasnt the game for you. We have been made irrelevant in raids, they are slowly chipping away at our group abilities (nerfed 2/3 mezzes), more no-stacking issues, etc. And they have decided we arent supposed to solo...again. I'm thinking apparently, a person who wants to play an enchanter, is just someone that doesnt fit into the "vision" of EQ2 anymore.</P>
