Power drains are useless

<DIV>What is it that makes some people think that there is any use at all to this spell line?  95% of the time the mob is dead before its power is drained.  Even if it was possible to drain the power of every mob your group encountered, would the final outcome of the fight be any different?  Can anybody come up with even a hypothetical situation where power drain will change the outcome of any given encounter?  Oh boy!  They are giving a marginal enhancement to power drains on the next update.  The only really effective use of this spell seems to be when it was cast upon the developers brains...</DIV>

Because the devs see things in a vacuum. They look at our power drains compared to a player's power pool. They don't compare it to mob's power regen rate or their power pool. They compare it to a player's power pool, which the power drains are honestly in line with.
