prismatic strife and fizzle ...

<div></div>I can't explain it but i fizzle only prismatic strife ... and i fizzle it a lot. A rapid count seems to show a half-times fizzle rate with sometime 3 or 4 fizzles in a row. I know that may sound odd or strange (even bizarre) and what bother me the most is that i've found no such comment on the boards. It's not a complaint or a bug report in any way. I would just want to know if it's me(/my character) suffering from a personnal bug, something that happend to every one that no one cared to mention before, a known issue i was to blind to find or the stuff in my cigarette that makes me hallucinate (/take me to your dealer routine) (oups, Leader ... of course <span>:smileywink:</span>) If you have any info please enlight me, it's /confusing me. <P>keep in mind that only beneficial spells have the possiblity to fizzle during combat, detrimetal spells got changed and cannot fizzle at all any more. </P> <P>during most fights the only beneficial spell you cast will be prismatic strife, which counts as buff. so not much surprise that you only find this spell fizzling but no others.</P> <P>i get a fizzle every now and then on prismatic strife, but nothing exceptional. dunno why yours should fizzle that much more often.</P>

<div></div>Check your ordination skill!  Last I checked, this controls all positive buff-type spells we have.  Even with casting Prismatic all the time, mine is still about 20 points below where it should be, and I still fizzle around 5%-10% of the time.EDIT: hp => power are Ministration, my bad...though my skill at that is even worse!<div></div><p>Message Edited by Fizwick on <span class=date_text>10-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:10 AM</span>

<P>Yep, same experience here.  Seems close to a 50% fizzle rate, and my ordination skill is maxed.  The only other spell that comes close to fizzleing as much is the health => power spell (excrutiating reverie?), but thats understandable as my ministration skill is rather low.</P> <P>I agree that there seems to be an abnormal amount of fizzles associated with the prismatic line, or at least the first spell in this line (prismatic strife?).</P> <P> </P>

If i understood it right : i noticed that but it is intended. Spells don't fizzle out of combat and only beneficial spells fizzle while in combat? At least that makes sense to me and is relevent with a fizzle i had yesterday while rebuffing in combat a recently rezzed friend.
