My brother (31 ranger now) and myself (47 illusionist, I mentor) have been duoing. I noticed though that my prismatic line does not proc off of his bow shots. I cetainly hope this is not intended.

Well, it does say it procs of melee attacks in the description. Bows are ranged attacks.

True, true. Bows are ranged attack. But to be fair, my dirges crypt line says melee attack for its procs and it works just fine on bow shots. Also, the illusionist's intensity line, which is supposed to proc of off any offensive combat art or spell, does not proc on bow combat arts. Hense I believe it to be a bug.

The intensity line only procs off of spells... not just any combat art. There is a difference between a mage's nuke and a fighter's kick. If you're unsure what that difference is, take a look at this thread.

Message Edited by MillsFairchild on 10-03-2005 04:08 PM

Thank you for your response, however I fail to see how that tread is helpful. It clearly indicates people seeing procs from combat arts. In fact, I see procs from my brother's offensive melee combat arts all the time. True, I have not tested to see exactly if certain offesive melee combat arts will proc and others not. Howerver, I do believe he (ranger) has absolutely no "spells" per se.

Looks like Illuionists spells work as worded.
