What the best way to equip our pet ? Can we wear something while casting pet then change our gear without effecting the pet? for example put something with agi on pet then switch our own gear back for int?

Yes. Your gear has no effect on your pet whatsoever. It is just a look. So you could put on different equipment, cast your pet, then change and your pet will be dressed in different clothes than you.

What if you change out/into int gear to something else? Does your int "at the time of casting" your pet affect his damage at all? Or is the only thing at all that matters is the quality of spell (i.e. adept3)?

Nope. It has no effect at all. There's a discussion about that very thing here. Last night, I was 'dressing' up my Dopple in as many different ways as I could. Eventually, I settled on putting him in level 25 guild clothing and watching him fight mobs bare fisted. hehehe. Another excellent option was the shiny metal armor from the Bloodline's merchant. :smileyvery-happy: I'm sure the novelty will wear off with time, but for now I've invested in a few of the snazzier looking low level robes (that don't have great bonuses) for him. I also did something dumb last night. I decided to change my last name to "Personae"... just to see how it looked. Little did I know that I have to wait a week to change it again. Now I'm stuck as "Faylen Personae" being followed around by "Faylen's Personae" for 6 more days. /sigh

Message Edited by MillsFairchild on 09-27-2005 12:12 PM
